- Today I attached my belt kit to my backpack. This eliminated another strap across my waist and increased the comfort of my backpack.

I modified my ruck after watching this video. I do hate cutting anything from a military pack so in the process of replacing the waist belt it occurred to me to remove the fastex buckles and save them and the tuck the existing waistbelt inside the back of the pack. Then I ran the new belt through the pack. Without the buckles the new belt went through without any problems. This way I can always revert back.

Good idea, but the only thing is that if you have to ditch the backpack you loose everything 😨
@@markfour9866 Yes and that’s a very good point!! So this is what I’ve done since then is, I wear an LBE setup now with my backpack. With a small survival kit in my pocket. I’m going to do a video on my 3 tier system soon. I’m kind of adopting a similar system to what the British use.

I have that same belt. I REally like it for a light pistol belt. It would be fine for your pack too but Iam leary of running much thru that webbing on it. It feels kinda light.
Yes the webbing isn’t as great as some belts out there but it has held up so far. Have a great day my friend and thanks for your comment!
