- We kept going back and forth over what to get started with when it comes to audio, and as luck would have it, time ended up being our determining factor.
With that being said, we ended up with a Swamp Donkey audio setup and we couldn't be happier!

Im between the base unit and RGB unit because they say the rgb comes with better speakers. Both now come with sony head units. Is yours loud enough to hear?
Mine sounds great. I thought the only difference between the two was the RGB lights, and I didn’t want to pay for that. Several people have said that they are better speakers, but I haven’t had the time to verify.
I have no complaints with the base model, they sound great! Plenty loud even at high speeds…

Yes mine is loud enough to hear at 60mph
How does the system sound when your going full throttle? Does the exhaust sound louder then the music or is it still pretty loud?
It’s still pretty loud. You can definitely hear it, nice and clear. Does lack bass though, so a sub will be needed if that’s you’re thing!

Are you wanting to run a tablet in the dash like I have? If so, the Fosgate system won't work. If not, I'd say go Fosgate. That setup sounds absolutely amazing, IMO.
My jbl u 4100 sound bar has been awesome but damn expensive
These things are like Harley’s, anything you do them is $500 and up!

Thanks! I’m running a Samsung Tab A, but if I were to do it again I’d get the S. The Tab A works fine, just a little slow when doing certain things, like the GPS.
I’ve heard rumors you can just tap your phone on the volume button and the Bluetooth link’s automatically due to some kind of software in the head unit.
I’m going to have to try that! If it works, that’s awesome!
