I just bought this tent for bike packing. I like your method for setup. As much as it rains here in Japan, I usually setup a tarp first then the tent. :)
Nice video bro! I have a similar tent and I can't believe that the people at naturehike left those side flaps hanging without thinking about adding a sewn-in strap to correct this. Another problem that I found bad, when camping in a cold and windy place, is that there could be another 20 cm of windproof material on the inside, so the wind doesn't pass through so easily. It would still be well ventilated.
Yeah, sometimes we have to think outside the box to improve little things like this ourselves. They are cheap tents after all, and hopefully Naturehike takes note 👍
Nice! , I have one and set it up in similar rainy circumstances but on a less than ideal pitch.. The clips are unavailable from the amazon store where I am but what cords did you use?
You can also try TEMU for these great and strong clips.... share.temu.com/pbNp2xOqF7A Also, the cord I used is just cheap 3mm paracord from my local hardware store. Works fine for this application.
True, sometimes these tents and products have design flaws that aren't obvious until you actually buy the product.... Which is what I generally try to show when reviewing these things.
I love the alligator clip idea to help pull the rainfly at the foot or head.

@@jelreviews I also believe that naturehike Just copy big brands tents, made with good materials and sell without the astronomic price
@@jelreviews Another point I noticed is regarding the anchor points, there are only two, right?
Good job with those tarp extenders. I do the same thing for my Teton Vista 1.
Nice Little Tent.
Glad it worked..i hadn't tried that myself yet 😂. I did test my jacket I reapplied DWR in the latest rain though.
After you suggested it, I simply had to give it go during the train yesterday 😁. At least you tested your jacket
I have it, value for money. Thanks
Is it possible to set up tarp from the inside, using another set of peggs...? It would be useful on the rainy day.
Once was enough for me😂

Unfurnately outer gound clearance is too high & iner bathtube is too low 😌
Putting up the Rainfly first..? Simple but genius to a newbie like me.
Where was them clips from buddy for the side of the tent
Just from Amazon... There's a link in the description. 👍
Hey John, you know what i say about camping in thr rain, don't, T-rocks
Bwahahaha.... that's exactly what my wife says!
I love Naturehike but the fact that you need to DIY something to pull the backside is a turn-off for me. They should make it better.

Nice...
Too Litlebit longger frame, so that ground clearance the outer is too high, its not good for iner specialy during hardrain ...
