Footage from the first 13 minutes of the Equipe Classic Racing Brands Hatch Indy LIBRE Race 19th March 2022 MGB With Commentary.
After a promising start it all went wrong from there! The gearbox kept falling out of 3rd and 4th. A pitstop 2.2 seconds early meant a 3 lap penalty for me as well. Not the best of weekends for me, hoping for better luck at Snetterton. I've added commentary to the video to give a better idea of what is going on.

Sorry to hear about your gear box. When you take it a part, you might want to change the springs in detents. They might be worn and allowing it to pop out of gear. Just a thought.

Many thanks for your message Jay, I won't be rebuilding the gearbox myself, but will pass the message on. Replacement gearbox went back into the car today, I'm hoping a new gear oil may work well with the brass synchros.

I have a newly rebuilt gearbox ready to go, will be swapping it this weekend, hoping some different oil may help. Will see how it goes...
