Couple of big misses in the top of 2 combat phase: Abraxia returns a mortal wound on a 4+ for each wound she takes, so on average pushing 7 mortals back into Nef. But more importantly, the Chosen are definitely in combat range of Nef, and should have been able to activate, pile in, fight, and fight again with their once per game >.
Mortals are in the wound roll in 40k, which is probably what they confused it with here. I definitely took me a while to realise that AOS does it on hits.
Lauka Vai worsens enemy's rend by 1 if she's in combat with that unit. So the Varanguard would have less rend on their attacks. Also crits are on the hit roll, not the wound roll.
The lists and drops seems a little off. If you have skeletons in a regiment and elect to have them in the ground, they still deploy in the ground with the rest of the regiment. They doesn't fall out of the regiment and deploy on their own.
Ranged armies still gladly take a double turn in the right moment. Other armies do it only if it's to strike a killing blow or if they have less feasible battle tactics than turns left, or in other such corner cases. Generally you need to think that you might not have 5 feasible battle tactics in a match, so sacrificing one to deny the opponent assets can work. Watch more Season of War and you'll see a few double turns still.
Come on guys, I know it’s a new edition. But saying crit mortals from those 3 varanguard 6’s changed the very outcome of that whole sequence of events. He’d have to save 9 wounds on wards off the bat! Chadukar would have been dead from that first round alone. Leaving the next round of attacks to have gone totally into the other unit. Both players are responsible for fumbling that, the StD guy doubted what the other lad said, he should have challenged it. Not seen past this yet but hope it gets picked up. But even now it’s changed the format of what comes next. Edit: a few mins later chat picks it up. I get you guys couldn’t run it back, but then allowed the Grave Guard to use crit mortals that same turn. This is going to be a landslide now probably. The were opportunities for a bit of sportsmanship here I feel the Soulblight player missed.
remember there is a 0,5" coherency range, those graveguards have been very lose all game and should have been removed until you where in coherency range.
Combat attacks and shooting attacks are the things. There isn't melee attacks actually and the fight ability refers to combat attacks. So indeed nurgle doesn't protect vs shooting
Crit mortals are on the hot roll not the wound. Chad was toast. Ponies not needed 😂 🍞🐴
chadokar would have been smacked down with 24 damage
I wasn't sure what to think of that Brian guy at first...but the moment he mentioned rounded edges and sprue connections he spoke to my soul.
I'll admit that i have not finished watching the entire video, but All-Out Attack does specify that it applies to companion attacks.
Yep! The missed that, apologies!

Also all out attack specifically works on companions (the varanguard)
Thanks for the tips!
why were the crit mortals on the varanguard said to be for wound rolls, i thought crit mortals referred to hit rolls?
It is on the hit roll. They made this mistake alot

Just a mistake as they learn the game

Brian, amazingly painted army! Both, read your cards ;) (sorry I missed it to help you live, I was bedridden with high fever :( ).
All out attack does not persist the entire phase and is does affect mounts (companions) now

I came to the comments to say the same thing. Those skeletons should have dropped at the same time as their regiment, even when in reserve.

Rad game! Thanks for the sigmar stream!

Do either of them actually enjoy AoS?
the follow up on dicerolls, camra view and so on can be improved alot. love Soulblight Gravelords but hard to get that umph from the narrotiv.

new viewer here, lauka wasn't on the list, so how come is she on the battlefield?
That was a typo in the list, sorry about that!
jelly is strained to not have fruit bits in it, jams are mushed up, preserves are not mushed up, whole bits of fruit. no idea about conserve.
Within 3" of Lauka your -1 rend also.
WOW awesome army B! Nu-Hordes of Chaos done best
Y'all are incredible. So grateful for mondigmar
I’ve been away for a long time, where’s Jon
Siiick!
Extra so with the awesome shaman having the mark of Nurgle. 😄🦠
Nice to see my AoS army of choice on the channel as well. Go Soulblight!
Wanted to watch but huge mistakes made me turn it off.
And this made me watch the first 10 min then do the same, shame, AoS needs more love!
Hi guys Mark of Nurgle -1 to wound from combats attacks doesn't say melee attacks so mean melee and ranged
Its says combat atacks, so that means melee, if it would also have been ranged it would just say atacks....
Combat attacks and shooting attacks are the things. There isn't melee attacks actually and the fight ability refers to combat attacks. So indeed nurgle doesn't protect vs shooting
Just want to say that while I appreciate battle reports, they have to be SHORT!
So I won’t be watching you.
Were you just trying to say that Twilight is Vampire and Werewolf lore? We have to talk....
Bridger is so unbearable to watch
Needlessly rude. Go outside.
@@mattyno964he blatantly cheated when the Varanguard hit Radukar with the crit mortals.
