- Digging 4 more sewer lines at this site, after these we will only have 2 more here. Over 2 afternoons I got the 4 lines dug and padded with rock, once they are inspected I will be back to backfill them. We usually try to get the inspection set up for the day we are digging but they were not able to come. I'll come back the next day to dig in the water lines and cover up the sewer lines. As usual it was a touch rocky but we got it. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #sewerwork

Gotta love it when you have to move everyone else's crap ( sand, dirt, stone) because they dump it anywhere they want. .. and 99 % of the time it's where you have to dig the sewer and water lines !!!!
Del Casale Excavating that’s usually how it goes lol
Is so good 👍 to see more Digging sewer lines I love ❤️ your video 📷 the are the best ones I just can't wait for the next video 📷 #MoreDiggingSewerLines
Anthony j Carolan thank you appreciate the comment
Nice video
keeping busy .is good
Joe Southern yes it is. 👍🏻
Nice working
Iwan Deegenaars thank you!
Nice Job Brandon.
Dirt E Diggin thanks man
That light is awesome. I try my best not to dig after dark (it happens occasionally), but I think I'm gonna have to upgrade my lights like yours. You can almost see the future with those babies.
Blackdog Tractor/Excavator yeah I love it! I try not too either but I’m not having much luck at it right now. They do a great job!
My Kubota U-25 has some powerful lights too.
you the man as allways, good digging.
junehunk1 than thanks buddy!
Told you. You'll love the grading bucket.
Larry Shedd yeah it’s great!
Moving dirt to dig up dirt....sound like state government work. Only thing missing is 3 guys standing there watching you. 😂😁
D C 🤣 no kidding they showed up the next day
And you'd definitely not get anything done !!! LOLOL
D C Hello!
Mrs. Elite Earthworks Hello hello 😊
Another fine operating production Brandon!
Great camera work as usual and some nice background shots too. The 2 most important things in your bag of ""tricks" these days have to be the grading bucket and the killer LED work light on the cab of your excavator. Making the rock and dirt contractor happy, 1 day at a time. 5 stars bud! Work safe, stay warm, have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family my friend.
Doug@ the "ranch"
lakesideranch thanks buddy! Yes those are two definitely must items for the excavator. Thanks again! Have a great Thanksgiving too!
You could use another one of those lights mounted on the other side of the boom.
Rick Janisse yes! I’m trying to find one that will work
Always such great videos to watch!
Thank you! I appreciate that!
The things you do so Mrs Elite can make more shirts spending your money.
James Conquest tell ma about it 🤣
Looked like tough digging there but as always your got it, nice job
Brian Baughan it was definitely some rocky stuff. Thanks buddy
sounds like you digging in a old river channel all the small and big rocks
George Bryan yeah it’s definitely something rocky
Hope that was by the hour after having to move everything around just so you can do your job! Excellent job as always! Thanks for sharing!
BurningDinosaurs it was 😁 thanks buddy
Thank goodness... back to digging in good native topsoil! Was beginning to get worried that you’d get out of practice!
Don’t you love it when every job done before yours piles it on?
William Harris lol no kidding don’t want to get rusty. Yeah and the last house it always the worst cause everyone pushes the junk to the end. Thanks again for watching
That’s decent lighting! Wish I had those lights haha
Oliver yeah I love it! Sure makes life easier
@@eliteearthworksllc As a professional youtuber, i don't suppose you could see what you think of my last upload? Any comments would be very much appreciated.
Btw, where did you get those lights?
Oliver you bet! Got them off Amazon
Elite Earthworks LLC thanks mate, will have to look into them!
Is that the same 605 from a commercial job a few months ago? If it's dual joystick and not pedal steer, you could probably hop in it and feel right at home.
hvy 1ton it is! Yeah it operates just like my loader. I got in there for a little bit the other, I need to get a short video running it next time. I’m working on a sewer main job with him right now
Stone age manufacturing if you guys do any patio or out door kitchens check these guys out .
jody davis cool I will do that. Thanks
Really liked the in-trench excavation shot! You' re getting really creative. I agree with the earlier comment about CC. The cam still picks up too much engine noise and too little voice.
Bob Grier thank you! Yes I agree it does the audio has always been my biggest complaint on the GoPro. I’ll try to have the next one fixed. Appreciate you watching
I think you should have a surcharge for digging in rocky ground. I really liked the brighter color of the dirt in the first trench too.
Do you have to use the rock to backfill or could you use sand too?
walter mattson I’m thinking about it, it’s so much harder on the teeth and the machine
walter mattson the city requires the rock. I bet we could use sand but the rock is cheaper here
@@eliteearthworksllc I wonder if a frost tooth would loosen it up enough to be worth the trouble?
walter mattson I’m hoping so we will find out in a couple of weeks 😁 new tooth will be here
looking good! loved the shot from in the trench. you shoot this with the 8?
Captain Kleeman thanks buddy! Yes it was on the 8
only the pipes are change to protect the incense
Time to pour some red bull in that fuel tank,,Fast Forward Boss!!!
Rick Irelan haha that’s right!
Excavator is going to need new teeth for Christmas.
Rich Wielechowski lol no kidding it always needs teeth 🤣
Good video!
Where is that site located at? Very rocky ground
Is that common in that area?
MAB Construction SRVC thank you! Joplin Missouri, yes it’s very common here we have almost no dirt just rocks
Is that the job site were the old school was torn down and the junk left behind?
David Glaum yes that’s it
Im doing a similar sewer job at my house are you grading in a slant for the proper pitch or are you just digging a hole and plumber uses blocks to get the pitch right then bed with rocks ?
asus12351 I try to dig with a little slope but with our rock that doesn’t always work. So yes they will block it up then we pad it with rock. Or you can dig it and spread a few inches of rock on the bottom and rake and grade it then lay the pipe.
@@eliteearthworksllc thanks that helps a lot
asus12351 you bet!
Is that a backflow preventer before the clean out?
Yes the city requires them
How long do the pins and bushings last for the bucket and bucket linkage? Looks like you work the excavator hard
David seaquist so far 360 hours lol I just got this excavator in July. My old one lasted 3500 hours before I changed them. I doubt these will last that long but we will see
@@eliteearthworksllc Thanks just curious I bought a used small kubota KXO-18 from a dealer with 1650 hours my pins are shot trying to see if dealer will give me the parts so I can replace them, hope so. I know rentals get abused, but dealers still need to do repairs and maintenance on the rental units.
David seaquist yeah hopefully they do. Rentals get abused bad which is really aggravating people just don’t care
your always digging in land fill, is this site where the school was, if not what ever state your in has sorry dirt
jim west yes it’s the school site but that is pretty much how the soil is here in southeast Missouri
If you use sand or #9 grits you don't have to pack it
Yeah that would be better they always want to use base rock cause it’s cheaper 🤷🏼♂️
@@eliteearthworksllc base rock? Is that the same as #304? That's what it looked like to me, we just might be using different terminology
Maybe it’s 1” limestone or crusher run is what some people call it. I like using clean rock or washed stone
@@eliteearthworksllc yeah that sounds like 304, bits and pieces up to an inch with some sand in it
Not enough day light , hate this time change.
Louisiana Dirt 218 I know I wish they would just leave it 😏
Good video but audio needs CC please !
Tom Hill thanks ok good to know I’m still trying to figure this GoPro 8 out and the new creator studio on RUclips. It’s a pain
