As I've said, I live in North Central Iowa. We are definitely getting winter weather here. We have been getting freezing rain that's suppose to turn into ice around day break. Then after that around mid morning we are to get snow. I'm very happy that I don't have to go anywhere for a few days.
I love those Just Bare chicken products. They taste similar to Chick FIL A imo. I just pop them in the air fryer. I like to get them from Sam's because they have a bigger bag than other stores where I've seen them.
The Just Bare chicken is delicious. Definitely a Chic fil a doup. I usually get them at Publix along with the Just Bare wings and chicken breast. Great haul, and I am so happy the car is repaired.

You need to get yourself a vacuum sealer like a seal-a-meal. You can cut up your peppers or break down large packages of meat. Everything will last at least a year in your freezer. I wouldn't know what to do without mine. I live alone but I buy everything in bulk and break it down to the size that I need.

Buy the bare chicken! They taste much better than all the other brands. I'm sure your kids will like them. They are made with whole pieces of chicken not processed chicken. We prefer them.

The seal-a-meal would be perfect for you to get some vegetables before they go up even higher in price and use it and put them in the freezer.
My daughter uses romaine lettuce as hamburger and hot dog buns also.
You could use the sugar cookie mix and let the kids use cookie cutters and then decorate the cookies for Christmas.
