Thing is they do. They just don't do what we ask for. Not "because we suck and they hate us" but because it's a great marketing strategy. If you're somewhat familiar with the watch world you'd know that's exactly what companies like Rolex and Patek Philippe do. They keep certain models that are in high demand out of the reach of the public thus creating a aura of "unobtanium" around the brand that in turn sells their other products and they cash in. The ATF itself isn't the problem, its the bureaucracy and career embeds at Justice. The ATF actually does a really good job conducting a critical mission. This ban and dissolve stuff is as bad when talking about the ATF as it is when the other side talks about disbanding ICE and defunding the police. ICE is not the crux of their problem either, ICE is just doing their job, they dont make policy. In the case of ICE and ATF they usually get blamed for thing they have no control over and often have no participation in. ATF didnt write the NFA. They just enforce it.
@@frackratsfenorki3689 I agree with you that career bureaucrats in the Justice department are the main thorn in the bush, along with the NFA. I would also add the ban in '86, although that has thankfully run out, despite all the efforts to reinstate it or to pass another such law. I don't agree, though, on your comparison of the legitimacy of the ATF versus ICE. ICE actually has a legitimate, constitutionally aligned purpose of ensuring a secure and safe border, making our nation as a whole more secure and safe. That's well within the outline of the duties of the federal government written in the constitution. The ATF, on the other hand, does not hold up under that same scrutiny. Second amendment "shall not infringe" and all. That does, though, still leave the alcohol and tobacco enforcement. I don't agree with the federal government getting involved in those arenas either. Any responsibilities not expressly given to the federal government in the constitution were to go to State and local government. Not to unelected officials in countless federal agencies/ bureaus that have given birth to our current administrative State.
I'm going to correct a mistake I made in my earlier comment. The '86 ban is still in effect. It's the '94 ban that ran out and hasn't been renewed. Yet.
really it's the economy to blame, people are making about the same (if not less) in average compared to 10 years ago but the inflation has been killing our wallet.

The 5.56 rifle is garbage compared to other 5.56ak variants. Having owned one.. in all honesty.. they are only cool until you own and shoot one. After that they lose their appeal.
The K2 is amazing. When I was part of the JSA and in South Korea I was extremely interested in the K2. The fact that I was able to pull a mag off my own vest and use it was awesome. I really like them. Daewoo makes a lot of stuff. Trucks, toys, TVs, radios . . . guns and oh boy they're not bad. Even their trucks are something nice, if not a bit small.
I carried K2 for a while before switching to M16A2 (if you are familiar with ROKorean Army you might know why). So I think I can tell what its really like. I really couldn't make myself like the K2. Yes it has folding buttstock and gas piston like AK but it lacks details that made M16 such a good weapon. K2 somehow felt heavier to the touch than M16A2(although on paper it is lighter), maybe due to how its balanced... The FAL-esque pistol grip is far from ergonomic: it cut in between the thumb and index finger when I fire or just hold the weapon ready. It wasn't as bad as this in M16. K2's selector switch, extremely stiff btw, combined with the said pistol grip, ruins your thumb when operating it(especially if you follow the American doctrine of switching to safe every time) and forces you to break the grip of your trigger-pulling hand. The gas regulator underneath the front sightpost is notorious for mysteriously disappearing during ruck march or other exercises, although I only experienced this once while I was cleaning my weapon. It does not have a dust cover like FNC so whatever finds its way into the opening behind the the bolt carrier is free to go in. The AR-15 style bolt hold open has additional huge chunk of metal sticking out underneath the paddle so it digs into your back if you sling-carry it. There is charging handle on the opposite side and the sling mount is on the left, so you can't do anything. The charging handle is part plastic, not designed to be ergonomic at all, and it moves about in the bolt carrier: it feels flimsy, and I've seen a lot of them broken and soldiers having to hold onto that nasty sharp thing to charge their weapons - there's a reason way MAC has his own rubber charging handle on his K2 - the spring tension is pretty significant as it has a folding buttstock and a gas piston - these heavy things have nowhere to go beyond the receiver. +The lever that holds the upper and lower receiver together is prone to bust open when it is not secured properly. It was just like AK, attached to the gas piston but more flimsy and perilous. This is a huge safe hazard and we were reminded again and again to secure it properly before firing. And it is serrated so it also ruins your thumb when you are an infantryman and has to move it back and forth hundreds of times for routine weapons inspection. Upside is, the front sightpost guard is a ring like Chinese AKs so it is easier for untrained soldiers to get a good sight picture with the rear peep sight. It is extremely durable as well but if you strike it hard enough to bend the sight post, you're going to bend something else on your rifle anyway.
I don't see why Lionheart Industries doesn't try to import the Daewoo rifles, they already import an updated DP51. As far as guns I love a return of? I'd love to see the iconic SPAS 12 return with updated ergonomics and better build quality.
The SPAS is out of manufacture. Hasn’t been made in years I’m sure. It would be nice for it to return with lighter materials too. But make a classic looking one too. But the Beretta M3 I think has pretty much done what the SPAS could do.
All good choices. My list would be the same. The IMI Mini Uzi would be cool to see as a pistol with a brace and short barrel. Not the micro abortion they called the Pro. A semi auto FAMAS would be excellent to see.
They are only doing it for that platform. They’re not making K2 uppers or others. I messaged them a while back and they’re only focusing on just the BRN-180.
The gov in germany will probably became very left wing in the next years. This will mean even more problems for HK. I expect them to move to the US in the future.

Let's be real. We need to make it a priority to repeal the NFA. We need to defund the BATFE and repeal the 1968 Crime Bill. We the People shall be respected and shall rule as we were intended to.
We need to make that a priority, but it won't ever happen unfortunately
America will collapse and be replaced by a new nation before the NFA is repealed.

Could probably have alot more if we dissolve the atf. Shall not be infringed.
Now that is something we can defund lol lol 😂
The ATF itself isn't the problem, its the bureaucracy and career embeds at Justice. The ATF actually does a really good job conducting a critical mission. This ban and dissolve stuff is as bad when talking about the ATF as it is when the other side talks about disbanding ICE and defunding the police. ICE is not the crux of their problem either, ICE is just doing their job, they dont make policy. In the case of ICE and ATF they usually get blamed for thing they have no control over and often have no participation in. ATF didnt write the NFA. They just enforce it.
Won’t ever happen lol
Yet.

That's a major mistake on their part. I'd bet they're not importing them because the 5.45 market share isn't as big as the 7.62x39. However, there's definitely a growing demand. They should be trying to get in on it now
