See now this is why i like you folks! You're honest with how and what homesteading is all about! You show the good, the bad, and the ugly of it all. You're not afraid to figure it out and admit sometimes the best laid out plans dont always work BUT you work around it all, think outside the box and make it all work for you! Im very proud to be here. Honest and genuine!
We really appreciate your kind words and all of your advice, tips and tricks and support. Comments like this help keep us motivated. Thanks again. 😊
I love the simplicity of the garden beds in the greenhouse and it will certainly be useful in fall, winter, early spring food crops. Growing food during the winter time is challenging and we can learn from you what we can grow in late fall to early spring here in Illinois.
Thanks!! It’s all gonna be a learning experience for us! A lot of trials and errors but we are looking forward to it!! 😊
It’s coming together! Looking great! ❤
It is!! We are so happy with it! Thank you!!😊
I love your greenhouse. It's great for the Maine/New Hampshire area! with all the snow we get😊
Thanks! Thats exactly what we are hoping!😊
I think the greenhouse looks great!!
Thank you!! Already planting in it!!😊

Thank you! We love it and are already putting it to good use!!😊
Love the use of poly! This is going to be a very useful space! Keep cool!!
Thanks!! We wanted something that will last a long time. Already using it!! 😊
Good morning y'all. Glad to hear it has cooled down some . Women having crazy storms down here . The raised beds look good nice job guys. In the garden looks amazing as well. Let me know when your sweet melon start to produce melons I have two plants in my aquaponics system they're still button but I haven't gotten any melons yet. Growing. Well if you guys have a great weekend and be safe
Nice seeing you here
Hi, thanks for the comment and the kind words! 😊 We didn’t plant any melons this year though we’ve been quite successful the past 2 years. We continue to experiment with different plants and growing methods and now with the greenhouse we’re hoping to start dialing in what we want to grow going forward.
Best of luck with your melons and have a great rest to your weekend! 😊
Run wire between stakes for tomato plants
Thanks for the tip!! Great idea! We did that with our squash!
I think green house it very nice and hope it works out for you. Hard wok, it will, pay off. 😊
Thank you so much!😊
Looks awesome. We ended up patio bricking our greenhouse floor because the second winter rats and chipmunks burrowed in attracted by the food and warmth uggg! Hopefully that won’t happen to you guys.
Thanks! I hope that doesn’t happen but we will see. If we need to change it a bit we will!!😊
I like your greenhouse. Do you have it anchored down to prevent strong winds from flipping it over? Uplift can be very strong in the right conditions. I appreciate your nice videos and honest content.
Hi Jim, thank you for the kind words and concern 😊 There are many challenges living where we do, and as such we weight as many factors as we can when building… that said we’re confident in the integrity of our greenhouse. 😊
Why couldn't you take the tractor with the bucket filled with dirt to the greenhouse, then fill one bucket, take it inside and dump it?
I suppose I could have but by filling the buckets where the dirt was I reduced the mess I could’ve made near the greenhouse. 😊
