    Thank you so much for this video Richard. Last winter I went up to the Artic and photographed the Northern Lights which drew me into trying to photograph the night sky, but in the UK clear skies are somewhat rare. While waiting for a starry night, I have been watching many RUclips tutorials and your Milky Way Editing & Blending is outstanding.

    One never gets bored watching your tutorials as there are so many things to learn. Just cannot understand why would anyone dislike your tutorial !!! Thanks Richard for the last tutorial for 2019.     A great finale to your post editing series. I learned a new Australian term today, "...looks like a dog's breakfast" I had to stop the video because I was laughing so hard.
    One of the many highlights of your videos is your enthusiasm. I have caught myself giggling out loud in the middle of nowhere while light painting. It's just so much fun.

    Hey Richard, another great tutorial. Like you have said many times, it does pay to go over the process more than once. Each time I watch an episode, something finally clicks into place. Also, you shouldn't be to surprised at your success on you tube and with the workshops. People want to learn from the best and right now that would be you. Keep up the great work.

    Thanks for all the great content Richard...keep answering those questions. I have taken star scapes, but not multiple images and stacking or star trails. I have both in my list and now that you've shown how i have nothing left to it but to do it. I'm in the US in Texas (howdy Darrell) and this time of year I'll be trying star trail. It would be a dream trip to head over your way and do one of your workshops. thanks again! russell

    Hint for Mac users at about 9:20, for Mac, there is Starry Landscape Stacker (available in App Store), which works pretty much equal as Sequator (hope I wrote it correct) does. I suggest to make 3 dark images with the lens cap on and same exposure settings as for , they are intended to detect hot pixels of sensor and remove them automatically.

    Thank you so much for your videos. By using them I was able to realise my aims of recording the Milky Way and a foreground in my images, and your teaching techniques are faultless. Australia's a long way from the UK but if I find myself your way again in the future I will certainly put myself on one of your workshops.

    A great series and a great teacher. Photo Filter: Instead of clicking onto the colour panel. Click onto the H.S.B. buttons and move the double arrows up or down for a more precise selection. Keep yourself safe from the fires!

    Watching your video has helped me out a lot I started this early summer here in the USA taking photos of flowers insects sunsets. then I have found night photography. I fell in love with it takeing those hard shots with a lot of light pultion around. doing my best what i have so far i have been using a Canon 50mm f1.8 lens it is the only one that goes that far.

    Great video Richard. I learned much more from watching this for a second time, after the farm workshop. I notice many more of the PS tips and techniques (sky "S" curve, photo filter, adjustment layers star minimisation/softening) sinking in. Much easier to absorb and appreciate after having now attempted a few nightscape images. Thanks!

    Fantastic Richard, very educational and not overly complicated. I use Affinity Photo rather than PhotoShop but most of these techniques translate straight across. Might need to do a bit more research into the translation of the star minimalisation technique. Looking forward to working thru the rest of this series.
