I'm surprised that your in-camera audio sounds clear. Mine sounds very muffled. Did you use wind reduction mode or stereo mode? Was there a lot of ambient noise?
Hm... Why record an empty field (27:55) instead of record the usual city or buildings... and medium close objects... hm... sound like the camera has some problems with stitching or something... also the low light video is terrible for camera of this price... dissapointed

It seems all the other reviewers I asked said the audio was worse than the One x2. So I am lost now. In any case, I am looking for a solution to improve the audio while still capturing in all directions from the camera itself. Also what I noticed with the camera is that the stitching seems pretty bad compared to the One X2 at a short distance on faces.. Something that no one really talked about.
nice review, however as a 360 motovlogger myself, I been using one x2 for long time, been hopeing insta360 will annouce one x2's next generation product, but after watching lots of review videos , I have to say insta360 one rs 1 inch is NOT for motovloging, insta360 even officially mentioned it on their purchasing page, that this camera is not for action or high speed, and it can not be used with fully extended selfie stick ( due to its weight I guess). Anyway this 1 inch is really a new era for 360 video making, for me I guess I will keep on waiting for " One X3".
Most important part to me is the minimum focusing distance which doesn’t look too good from other videos, and owning their 1” one R it was such a disappointment about 3’ till shot was focused.

I want to use this camera inside the cockpit of a single engine (propeller) airplane to capture both audio and video. I can use the audio jack to link into cockpit radio system with no engine noise. But, in what position do I point the camera? Do I lay it down (horizontal) or hold it straight up (vertical)? Also, can I place a lens filter on it to eliminate the propeller movement?
I have followed with much interest your new video about the Insta360 ONE RS 1-INCH 360 EDITION. I currently use a Kandao QooCam 8K, so I am particularly interested in the new competitor. I mainly create vacation videos to watch later in VR with the Pico Neo 3 Link. Is it possible that you provide photo/video sample (full resolution) so that a direct comparison can be made to the QooCam? I would love to see the difference in VR. I’d like to have a default angle of view after I processed records in Insta360 Studio what the rear camera watched while recording. With Insta360 One X2 I used to keep the screen of the camera in front of my eyes and everything9 was as I wanted. With Insta360 One RS 1 Inch if I turn the screen to me then the camera is watching on me as well. Switching the camera doesn’t help- the screen may show what is in front but in the record, it will be my face. I was not able to find the way to set the camera same way as it was with Insta360 One X2
Now PureShot HDR is faster due to shooting 3 shots in bracket. But when shooting in 9 shots , they are almost the same. Considering Z1 could perform in camera stacking afterwards. ONE RS is faster

I am only pointing this out because you say the Rode is the best wireless mic, and that seems to not be the case according to all tests.
My car got stolen and it in my 360 one r. Luckily I still have my roadtrip footage. Considering picking up this 1inch version as the image quality is noticeablably better.
