*Fun Fact:* The second end of Maul's lightsaber belonged to Asajj Ventress who got it at the black market. When she died, it could be possible that Maul traveled to Dathomir to hide the Darksaber when he come across Ventress' grave, and took her lightsaber and bled the yellow crystal into a red crystal and then used her lightsaber and combines it with Maul's lightsaber to make his Season 7 lightsaber.
Well then i guess it makes sense Disney came out with a new Asajj Vetress today that's yellow but IS EXACTLY THE SAME LOOKING HILT AS SHADOW MAULS. Disney really are acting like little rascals.

It is now Winter 2021 and a lightsaber that was seen in 1 1/2 episodes of a cartoon with a run time of 22 mins gets released before what we were promised. Good work Disney! Way to listen to everyone!

Great video! Timing was perfect for me and I was in the Anaheim area when they released this lightsaber at the Trading Post in Downtown Disney. The stars aligned so I definitely picked one up! The rubbery feeling on the hilt is a nice touch. No wobble to the blade either. Now I hope they release the original Maul lightsaber again so I get a chance to get one to connect the 2 together.

The "5 per customer" makes me think its not real. Disney knows how in demand their sabers are and want to give all their guests a chance to get one. Like the new legacy saber collectible sets on their shop disney website being limited to 1 per guest, I'd assume it would be the same way at the parks. Who's going to buy 5 of them other than to scalp them?
I heard that the maul shadow was coming to Florida around February so they probably just had 1,000 to sell cause why release the saber at different times if there’s only 2,000 ?
this one is not the same as the old one with crystal which for ID detection, the darth maul shadow directly use a LED to light the so call crystal up so it is brighter. the sound of course changed and the impact effect also need to tune sync with the sound.
I’ll buy another galaxy’s edge lightsaber when they actually sinc the swings and bring a better way to put blades in so it doesn’t keep disconnecting when you swing it around.

Disney sabers using over 20 years old technology. It’s sad for the price spend a little bit more get a custom saber with smooth swing and so many effects.

Definitely my favorite DS saber yet. It looks great connected to Mauls Ep1 saber but nothing beats Mauls original saber in my opinion.
Nah Dooku, Windu and Palpatine have much better looking and unique designs of their lightsabers.

A bandit, super easy. Unscrew the bottom part, battery pack comes out, I think you need a tiny screwdriver to access the batteries.
