Una sinabi ni Liza sa vlog nia na GRATEFUL sya sa decade of journey nia sa industry. It seems na-misunderstood ng iba ung full context of her vlog. I have seen some interview clips of Ogie and even if hindi nia sabihin un word na ungrateful, he did imply it .... I am actually surprised sa mga taong na-oofend sa vlog ni Liza at sinasabing ungrateful sya when from the start she mentioned na thankful and grateful sya. Her decisions for changing management was questioned like she dont know better coz in reality, her previous management and the creatives who surrounded her, still sees her as just an actor with strings that they can still pull. So when she explained herself and cutting all the puppet strings, and enumerated HER EXPERIENCES where she felt creatively unfulfilled (even when she did not specifically mentioned anybody), some people got defensive and reacted with such disrespect by negating Liza's experiences as merely being engrata, seriously? ano ba, hindi ba nauunawan un vlog kc english? The way I see it, the defensive and unnecessary reactions from those people just validated what Liza was enumerating as true. Isa pa anong engrata pinagsasabi ng mga tao, it was WORK! ABS CBN, the Directors, and those creative team around her got money from exploiting Liza's childhood as well by making her work hard, dahil alam nila pagkakakitaan nila un bata coz of the potential ROI she can bring. It was a business partnership. She worked hard for her success too and everyone got paid for their contribution and roles. Yes, people invested on her but did she not worked hard too so there coud be a better ROI sa investment nila? So anong pinagsasabi ng iba she needs to be grateful? For what? Di ba sila kumita at di rin ba lalo sumikat un mga directors na nakasama nia?? Everybody gained from her success and exploited her youth for better profits and dapat maging grateful si Liza sa kanila, for what? Bakit libre ba ung mga gibawa nila?? I think by now, Ogie Diaz is aware of how it felt on being bashed online as he only took his own medication by sensationalizing things. Liza/Hope did one vlog to do rebranding, and it took him 8 vlogs to do online nit-picking on Liza/Hope's vlog. I'm not sure if he knows that online nit-picking is bullying. Nit-picking involves focusing on small, trivial details in order to find fault or criticize, rather than looking at the bigger picture. The way Ogie Diaz publicly criticized Liza in his first few RUclips vlogs dated on Feb 27, 2023, March 1, 2023 and many more can be forms of public humiliation. Correcting Hope/Liza in public indeed caused her to be embarrassed or in humiliation, particularly the correction is delivered in a nice manner yet mocking on the side in a comedic and judgmental manner. Even if the correction is delivered in a nice way, the fact that it is done in front of many people made Liza/Hope felt exploited. Especially, Ogie knew her for more than 13 years, and he knew her vulnerabilities as well. It is important to consider the impact that public correction can have on someone's self-esteem and confidence before deciding to do it. In some cases, it may be appropriate to offer correction in a more private setting, or to approach or call Liza/Hope first with empathy and understanding rather than criticism. Ogie Diaz have mentioned on his vlog dated March 15, 2023 that Liza/Hope didn't respond to his 2 messages, but he has never tried to call and see her own perspective of why she's saying this. Ogie should've been the bigger person as he was her previous manager and call her first rather than jumping the bullet, starting all 8 vlogs about Liza/Hope, as he didn't help on deescalating the issue. It is generally not an appropriate way to handle conflict or express disagreement publicly. It damaged his relationship with Liza/Hope, which created a hostile environment. It is sad the way Ogie publicly insinuated the controversy through his vlogs deliberately pinning her in his RUclips videos. I am not sure if there is Leadership course/subject in the Philippines. Please encourage him to attend one before starting taking new artists and include Ethics class as well. Checking the mental health of the artist is good, but did he even checked Liza/Hope's? Mental Health problem did not just happened overnight. Ogie has been with her for 13 years, who knows, it may have started when she was with him as Ogie was very cunning and manipulative. It is quite subtle on his vlogs, but people can see how scheming he was in handling things. Ogie Diaz weren't even able to control his own people while they were laughing and mocking Liza/Hope on the side. That is not good leadership at all. It is important to note that manipulation and cunning in a subtle manner can be harmful and damaging to relationships, trust, and personal integrity. In contrast, honest and open communication is usually the best approach in building healthy relationships and achieving mutual goals. The way Ogie Diaz showed sanctimonious talk typically involves a show of moral superiority or piety, where he made moral judgments about others while failing to acknowledge their own flaws. This was frustrating and offensive to Liza/ Hope, as it can come across as insincere or condescending. Disingenuous preaching, on the other hand, typically involves a deliberate attempt to manipulate or deceive others for personal gain. As it can be seen mostly on Ogie Diaz's 8 RUclips vlogs about Liza/Hope. This can involve pretending to have a particular set of beliefs or values in order to win favor or exert influence over others. Mocking in sarcasm is a way of expressing criticism or ridicule by saying something that is the opposite of what he actually means, often with a tone of voice that suggests insincerity or disbelief. However, it's important to remember that sarcasm can be hurtful or offensive if used inappropriately, so it's best to use it sparingly and with care. Ogie was being polite not using derogatory words but rather publicly humiliating her. He was nice but unkind to Liza/Hope. That's the difference between being nice vs kind. Ogie Diaz felt objected being compared to Boy Abunda(found in his vlog dated February 27, 2023), that's why he needs to stop comparing Liza/Hope to Vice (found in his vlog dated March 3, 2023). The way he threw her under the bus is quite compelling to watch already. Did Ogie understand why Liza/Hope is not listening to his online RUclips advice? As respect begets respect, even kids won't follow their parents' advice if they know they are up to something which he was by publicly humiliating her. As adults, we have to establish good examples to be better, although it's hard, it is reachable. Lastly, Ogie felt sorry, but he was unapologetic on his actions as seen in his vlog dated March 13, 2023. Saying that " si Liza mag-aapologize sa akin, dahil na offend nya ako? Di na nya kailangan magsorry..." Another of his vlog dated March 15, 2023, as " Kung may pagkakataon ba willing ka bang makausap si Liza? Ogie mentioned that " Naku, nanginginig pa ako anak." Trying to be sincere but not genuine at all. Trying to gain sympathy for his own crowd is saddening rather than establishing empathy to Liza and understanding where she was coming from. Nonetheless, sympathy is feeling sorry or pity for someone who is experiencing difficulties without necessarily sharing their emotions or experiences. Empathy, on the other hand, involves truly understanding and sharing another person's emotions or experiences. It involves putting oneself in the other person's shoes, feeling what they are feeling, and experiencing their emotions as if they were one's own. At the same time, it is also important to model empathy and respect in our own interactions with others and to be mindful of the potential impact of our words and actions. Filipinos can read English, but I think they should start reading the context and start understanding between the lines. The way I see it, the defensive and unnecessary reactions from those people just validated what Liza was enumerating as true.

I think by now, Ogie Diaz is aware of how it felt on being bashed online as he only took his own medication by sensationalizing things. Liza/Hope did one vlog to do rebranding, and it took him 8 vlogs to do online nit-picking on Liza/Hope's vlog. I'm not sure if he knows that online nit-picking is bullying. Nit-picking involves focusing on small, trivial details in order to find fault or criticize, rather than looking at the bigger picture.
The way Ogie Diaz publicly criticized Liza in his first few RUclips vlogs dated on Feb 27, 2023, March 1, 2023 and many more can be forms of public humiliation. Correcting Hope/Liza in public indeed caused her to be embarrassed or in humiliation, particularly the correction is delivered in a nice manner yet mocking on the side in a comedic and judgmental manner. Even if the correction is delivered in a nice way, the fact that it is done in front of many people made Liza/Hope felt exploited. Especially, Ogie knew her for more than 13 years, and he knew her vulnerabilities as well. It is important to consider the impact that public correction can have on someone's self-esteem and confidence before deciding to do it. In some cases, it may be appropriate to offer correction in a more private setting, or to approach or call Liza/Hope first with empathy and understanding rather than criticism.
Ogie Diaz have mentioned on his vlog dated March 15, 2023 that Liza/Hope didn't respond to his 2 messages, but he has never tried to call and see her own perspective of why she's saying this. Ogie should've been the bigger person as he was her previous manager and call her first rather than jumping the bullet, starting all 8 vlogs about Liza/Hope, as he didn't help on deescalating the issue. It is generally not an appropriate way to handle conflict or express disagreement publicly. It damaged his relationship with Liza/Hope, which created a hostile environment. It is sad the way Ogie publicly insinuated the controversy through his vlogs deliberately pinning her in his RUclips videos.
I am not sure if there is Leadership course/subject in the Philippines. Please encourage him to attend one before starting taking new artists and include Ethics class as well. Checking the mental health of the artist is good, but did he even checked Liza/Hope's? Mental Health problem did not just happened overnight. Ogie has been with her for 13 years, who knows, it may have started when she was with him as Ogie was very cunning and manipulative. It is quite subtle on his vlogs, but people can see how scheming he was in handling things. Ogie Diaz weren't even able to control his own people while they were laughing and mocking Liza/Hope on the side. That is not good leadership at all.
It is important to note that manipulation and cunning in a subtle manner can be harmful and damaging to relationships, trust, and personal integrity. In contrast, honest and open communication is usually the best approach in building healthy relationships and achieving mutual goals.
The way Ogie Diaz showed sanctimonious talk typically involves a show of moral superiority or piety, where he made moral judgments about others while failing to acknowledge their own flaws. This was frustrating and offensive to Liza/ Hope, as it can come across as insincere or condescending.
Disingenuous preaching, on the other hand, typically involves a deliberate attempt to manipulate or deceive others for personal gain. As it can be seen mostly on Ogie Diaz's 8 RUclips vlogs about Liza/Hope. This can involve pretending to have a particular set of beliefs or values in order to win favor or exert influence over others.
Mocking in sarcasm is a way of expressing criticism or ridicule by saying something that is the opposite of what he actually means, often with a tone of voice that suggests insincerity or disbelief. However, it's important to remember that sarcasm can be hurtful or offensive if used inappropriately, so it's best to use it sparingly and with care.
Ogie was being polite not using derogatory words but rather publicly humiliating her. He was nice but unkind to Liza/Hope. That's the difference between being nice vs kind.
Ogie Diaz felt objected being compared to Boy Abunda(found in his vlog dated February 27, 2023), that's why he needs to stop comparing Liza/Hope to Vice (found in his vlog dated March 3, 2023). The way he threw her under the bus is quite compelling to watch already.
Did Ogie understand why Liza/Hope is not listening to his online RUclips advice? As respect begets respect, even kids won't follow their parents' advice if they know they are up to something which he was by publicly humiliating her. As adults, we have to establish good examples to be better, although it's hard, it is reachable.
Lastly, Ogie felt sorry, but he was unapologetic on his actions as seen in his vlog dated March 13, 2023. Saying that " si Liza mag-aapologize sa akin, dahil na offend nya ako? Di na nya kailangan magsorry..." Another of his vlog dated March 15, 2023, as " Kung may pagkakataon ba willing ka bang makausap si Liza? Ogie mentioned that " Naku, nanginginig pa ako anak." Trying to be sincere but not genuine at all. Trying to gain sympathy for his own crowd is saddening rather than establishing empathy to Liza and understanding where she was coming from.
Nonetheless, sympathy is feeling sorry or pity for someone who is experiencing difficulties without necessarily sharing their emotions or experiences. Empathy, on the other hand, involves truly understanding and sharing another person's emotions or experiences. It involves putting oneself in the other person's shoes, feeling what they are feeling, and experiencing their emotions as if they were one's own. At the same time, it is also important to model empathy and respect in our own interactions with others and to be mindful of the potential impact of our words and actions. I expected Ogie to be more than sympathetic as he was her manager for 13 years, and also her acting father in the business. Yet, he went below the belt to exaggerate the issue. He knows that Liza/Hope was grateful on her vlog posted on February 25, 2023 saying that " I am truly so grateful for everything that I have, everything that I have experienced in life, professionally and personally, and everything else that came with it. I am so grateful for my supporters, I am so grateful for the brands that I am able to work with. I am so thankful for the places that I've been able to go to. The things that I've been able to experience and being able to take care of my family and be able to live a comfortable life." Filipinos can read English, but I think they should start reading the context and start understanding between the lines.
Ogie Diaz is a content creator and as a public eye he needs to be careful on saying advices in the public especially to a certain person such as Liza/Hope as it can sound condescending and ungenuine, particularly if the advice is unsolicited.
To avoid this, it's important to approach the situation with empathy and sensitivity. Take the time to understand the other person's perspective and their needs before offering any advice. Also, be aware of your tone and body language when delivering your message, as these can also affect how your words are perceived.
It's also important to consider the power dynamics at play in the situation. As a public figure or content creator, Ogie Diaz has a certain level of influence or authority, and it's important to be aware of how that can impact his interactions with others. It's important to use his platform responsibly and avoid coming across as patronizing or dismissive

If you are truly grateful, you should have focused more on thanking the people behind your success and then look forward to the new chapter in your career.
