Hi Andrew, thanks for sharing the video. I have found if you don't want to risk a broken tap in stainless, and still want a thread to bolt into, you can drill the hole oversized and tack weld a nut on the other side of the material (if this permits). Hope that helps for a future project. Might give this one a try. Cheers!
very rare wok burner, love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hello
you are so damned talented. on top of that, you used smart tools. I'd never seen a jig / bender for a vice before. Flange-mouthed vice wrench ..? Another first for me. I hope you're still making content! Great work. I wish I had a roommate like you to apprentice for. just awesome bro.
Great video. When you get that fine misting of oil and it catches fire, that's one of the keys of the flavors of proper wok cooking. Gives you a bit of char and smoke taste on top of the normal flavors. So hard to replicate at home. I love it. Hated the music though.
My gosh, i have been looking for something like this but not able to find it on the shopping sites. If only i m resourceful and skillful as you lol. Happy cooking mate.
Nicely done. You can make a good amount of money making these for folks who DIY or for food trucks which need things for their mobile money makers. Rock on!!!
Excellent job, I’d be a little worried about galvanic corrosion between the SS and the black iron pipe where they are welded. How has it held up? Thanks 🙏🏼
Wow that is great, love the station sides. Is it fuel efficient or do you go through tanks really quickly? Do you ever have an issue with fuel flow freezing up the valve on your tank? What size tank do you use?
WOW I wish I had one for my wok burner . The stand that came with mine is horrible. I used to cook in Chinese restaurants years ago , miss it but my carpal tunnel doesn't
Hi Andrew, great video. I'm building a burner similar to your one but mine is for a paella pan, the only problem I have is that the stainless steel does bend when I start the fire! Your one it seems doesn't move at all! Any suggestion? Thanks
Would have to cut the sides down a little maybe on a 45 angle instead of the tall round corners it appeared to get in the way when trying to add each ingredient
Is it possible to flip the ingredients by sliding the wok on the ring(support) like chefs do in professional wok station? You are flipping the wok well but I can't see contact with wok ring.
Andrew, have you tested the King Kooker cast burner @30 psi? Is the flame very yellowish? Do you plan to add refractory bricks to the wok chamber for the next build?
I love your wok station. I don't know you can build one for me or not and I would love to pay for it. Can I buy one from you? Let me know I would appreciate it. Thanks!
I believe that the high pressure regulator is for LPG because the pressure of LPG (or what we call Propane in the US) is higher than that of natural gas.
Ah-Ha.....you are Canadian......I spotted the Princess Auto bucket. Again....you have made me hungry Nice build Where are you located in the Great White North?
