Hey beautiful. So we also clean Apartment units and have to go up and down the steps. We use the husky bags to hold all of our equipment and we have backpack vacuums which makes travel a little bit easier. Also a lot of these Apartment buildings that we clean have dolly carts which we borrow to bring up all of our supplies and bring back down. To much work here in Texas they only paid 100 dollars per apartment and you have to have work insurance, comercial car insurance and workers compensation insurance
I’m sure you haven’t reached out to every luxury apartments building in Texas. Please do not get discouraged just because a few people gave you the pricing that you’re not looking to pay. In order to be successful you have to be consistent persistent and continue to look.

You’re welcome ☺️ We had one bad experience when we first started out when using a self cleaning oven. It started to smoke and set the alarms off. It freaked me and my partner out and we were embarrassed. From that day forward, we started to use easy off. It really helps break down a lot of the grease and oil that you would otherwise have to remove by hand. Pumice Stones are helpful as well .

This particular size apartment can take a team of two anywhere from 5 to 6 hours together. So a total of 10 to 12 man hours. We pay our cleaners approximately $17 an hour. Which comes out to $205 and labor cost will probably spend $30 on supplies. Cost is $235 & we charge client $360 plus tax

My tip for a toliet is I use toilet paper the good kind to get hair and debris off and flush it just works better then a final with microfiber depending on how dirty it was.

Carolyn, Thank you for this video! I've been searching for a move out cleaning video. An opportunity to start my own business doing this just fell in my lap. One interesting thing is, the management at the complex we'll be working for is expecting us to complete 2-3 units a day because the prior companies were able to do that. (Although, the prior companies were missing things like cobwebs, etc.) They have 1, 2 & 3 bedroom units. Seeing that your experienced crew needed about 5 hours to clean a 2 bedroom makes me think they're expectations are too high at this complex. One thing I didn't see was if you clean under the washer and dryer? I look forward to seeing the rest of your videos and thank you again, so much, for sharing your knowledge! 💓 Becky
