looks like what's going on is the sp-404 (sampler in the middle) is providing the backing track, and dean and inga are manipulating the effects on it and improvising with what looks like two sh-101s (maybe one sh-101 and a yamaha pss of some sort) and a vocal mic hooked up to a boss dd-3
