What if instead of picking from eliminated fighters, you picked from the fighters not yet eliminated, and if someone correctly goes the opposite person's pick (and wins? or not?), they win the round? Then the character selection during matches would be like a single character guess that each player gets after each question, and if their questions are good, they have increasingly high chances to pick right.
1:24 I like how Luigi is a human, but Mario isn't.
I like how mario is ruled out for not being human in the first guess
What makes it even better is that Luigi and Wario were not ruled out for that (for the princesses you can at least argue their proportions are less cartoony then Mario's).

This was really fun, and I hope you do this again, as well as other more wacky content. I enjoy your more detailed videos, that’s why I subbed, but I like when you do something more lighthearted and fun styled. Though I would like to see the next episode be a best of 3 instead of 1 round.

Maybe a fun twist is that the character you play counts as a guess and you win the game if you win with the other players character (so if they're smart they don't say it when the opponent plays their character for when they don't win) And you still both ask one question in between the games

it could be fun if you have to both guess and beat your opponent with the character those chose in order to win. So with each question, players instead chose a character with the attribute they had just found out

Why was the falcon ditto not shown? It just showed a falcon punch vs a cpu and was very confusing
I feel like the matches would make more sense if you had to choose from your remaining possible characters. If you win with that character you get to either cross them off your list or win automatically if you beat them with the character they picked.
I mean technically Link, Zelda, Sheik, Young Link, Ganondorf, Pit, Dark Pit, Toon Link, Palutena, Corrin and Bayonetta are not humans but humanoid :D
Next time you do this you should set a timestamp that skips the character picks so veiwers can try to guess.

I would make the games one stock (exept if it's the final tie breaker) and would make it so if your win you get to guess and the loser doesn't guess, but ig that wouldn't work with the skill difference. Maybe if the opponent needs a handicap he can chose the better players charictor for him
