  • Fixing a common issue for E92 M3, leaking power steering reservoir. The PS system for E90 platform is great but when driven hard the fluid can boil and overflow causing a huge mess in the engine bay. Prevent this problem happening by installing a cheap power steering overflow tank. Thanks for watching!

Nice fix, looks like the one from the m3post forum though😉. But I do prefer your choice of a brass elbow over a plastic one.
Btw, their shouldn't be any pressure in the PAS reservoir, it's a vented system, even with the extra reservoir (btw, doesn't it's cap have a slot on the inside threads to allow venting anyway?).
Odd thing is, I've done 5-6 track days now, and not once have I had more then a little seepage from the PAS reservoir.🤷‍♂ (although I am in the UK, so cooler temps than many places in the US). Anyway, added to my favourites in case I do need to do it after all.
But I can't help wondering if many people are over-filling the reservoir, the top line on the dipstick is max hot, the next one down is max cold. How many people fill it to the top line when cold?? Did you Sal's?🙂

I’m guilty of that so maybe that is the culprit. Thanks for sharing valuable info 🙏

What happened to the billet reservoir you installed in the past?
