Great wallets. From the other video, I think I want one of those Tony the Ant wallets with the full height cash slot, however, still cut the U shape in the middle. Hand stitched with contrast thread, mixture of reverse Shell too. OOOO, that would be rather special. lol 😀👍🏻
Hey dumb question but i have raw shell, and i was wondering is their any cordovan cream that wouldn’t make the wallet appear glossy? Or change the patina? I want it to develop as naturally as possible
If you want it to develop as naturally as possible I suggest just a little bit of water and wearing it like normal. You can get a shiny luster right away if you use a polish like Saphir Cordovan cream or Venetian Shoe Cream
@@ncherp9421 You should be able to wipe it off with a dry, soft cloth. In fact the owner of the tannery, Skip, prefers a soft cloth over a horsehair brush. I like the brush but they both work!

Do you recommend using the saphir on a raw shell wallet ?

@@AshlandLeather thanks for the reply, can i wipe it off just with a rag? Or do i need a horsehair brush?

Thank you very much
does colored shell cordovan patina well?
The lighter colors develop a more dramatic patina. Black shell, for example, will develop layers of luster but it does not tend to change colors.
i really want to see inside, sadly this man doesn't know how viewers feel..
What would you like to see the inside of?
