I'm in. Thanks for sharing your review and all of the other useful tips and tricks for bushcraft on a budget. Particularly enjoyed your hammock camping and tarp camping modifications videos. Plenty of good winter projects to keep me busy 🙂👍
I got a BS3 about 3 or 4 years ago. Size and shape wise it’s basically a copy of the Mora companion with full tang and walnut scales. Came sharp out of the box and easily resharpened. It was £22.46 plus £7.63 postage from Ukraine, with no sheath. The scales and tang aren’t flush all the way round, but not enough to affect the use in the hand. Only problem I did have was bat-toning a pine stick not much bigger than the one in the video. I caught it off square an bent the blade 10-15 degrees sideways about 1/2” from the handle. Just laid it on its side, hit with the baton and I’d straightened out no problem. It’s still my go to fixed blade knife, still sharp and still straight.
Hope I can still get in. I haven't been getting any of your notifications. I have to go look for your videos every few days. Good luck to everybody !!!
Hi Neil well Im in thanks for another very useful review . Looks spot on and a very good value tool . I recently purchased your puck stove then I had 15 scouts making them at camp and then cooking sausages on them absolutely great activity . Keep up the good work.
hah that made me laugh because is was checking knife on amazon and when i saw the BS2FT the first thing that popped in my head was '' nice! this nice would be a really good substitute for a 21st century Kephart Knife '' .. and i come on youtube for review and first thing i see is your title ''A Kephart Knife for the 21st Century'' ...that just confirmed my thought! Really nice review btw :) have a good day!
I have an older version of that knife. It was before BPS started putting 90 degree spines on this model. I had to do it myself. I have put it threw it’s paces and have had it for years. I have never sharpened it. Just stropped it. Thanks 🔪🎸
I'm in I also made a parachute millbank bag according to your video..... I love your videos and your content.... thank you so much from Central Arkansas, USA...
I'm in. I've had a BPS knife for a few months now and think it's fantastic. Great size, fits my hand well, comfortable and non fatiguing to use and keeps an edge well. Build quality is good with a good sheath. I struggle to see how they keep the price so low. I hear that they have produced their first axe too !
Me too. Got the adventurer on Amazon for 30 dollars. Shocked at the quality. I don’t think I could break this thing if I tried, sharpens like a dream too and keeps its edge. I lent it to my gf the other day, she was carving bits of wood all day to make props for a Halloween costume. Was still hair popping sharp when she gave it back to me.
