I've had a Hobby for three years I recently had to get serviced, and I was looking for help making sure I wasn't nuts on proper operation of the pump. I use the water pump a lot for Americanos. The proper technique you covered for filling the boiler is opening the steam wand and running the pump to draw water into the boiler. I used to run the pump WITHOUT opening the steam wand and distinctly remember it dispensing air and water back into the reservoir. However, after getting it serviced, running the pump without opening the steam wand now dispenses water through the drip tray and grouphead instead of back into the reservoir. I'm trying to figure out if something like this is a part failure of the solenoid valve or an error on the technician's part, and if this was a mistake I made with my own usage.
It's not bad for the internals but not the greatest for taste, I always use soft filtered water and descale and backflush regularly as long as you do that you should be fine
your pronunciation is really funny ,, accent is on the vowel in the penultimate syllable ,,but ,, when a vowel is repeated ( as in this case the E is repeated ) its the first of the repeated vowels that is accentuated , ,, ,, & the double ZZ is ,, a hard Z sound which is almost pronounced like the “zz” in the English pronunciation of “pizza” but unlike pizza and because the first vowel is accentuated it ends up inheriting a softer "d" in front ,in this case it sounds like pi dzz a ( which is not the way ""pizza"" should sound ) so BE-d-ZZERA with only a hint of the d and the first E accentuated
Great job demonstrating the Hobby Bezzera machine. A lot of useful tips along the way. Thanks.

Any info on the OPV pressure? Can it be changed like the gaggia classic?
can you alter the temp internally?
I imagine that using distilled water is better than using filtered, soft water, right?

Just bought one, can’t get good foam without almost burning milk.
Poking with a non-insulated multitool into electric wiring under power - professional at work 😑
In another video I heard the man himself say it's BET-zerra.
