Visiting Tutbury Castle - Brazilian in the UK

- We went to visit this beautiful place that is Tutbury Castle!
It is where Mary Queen of Scots was held 4 times as a prisoner.
The castle was destroyed between 1647 and 1648, but gladly they didn't destroy all of it, and we can still see its ruins, what is also amazing.
Just some points about my video:
I refer to Sue as "miss Sue" and I know that it is wrong, it just came out like this when I was talking and I didn't realize until my husband told me whilst editing the video. Sorry!

Treat yourself to a day out in the Bailgate area of Lincoln. Amidst a vibrant old quarter lies a 1000 year Castle and Cathedral opposite one another across a medieval square, with the physical echos of it's Roman and Dane influence. It's quite literally living history and I think very much to your taste, well worth a trip.

Many castles were destroyed in the 1640s during the English Civil War. The castles in North Wales are worth visiting - Harlech especially

If you're interested in Mary Queen of Scots you should visit the remains of Fotheringhay Castle, or what's left of it. You can walk to Oundle, which is a pretty market town, from Fotheringhay.
The history of Tutbury Castle is very interesting, worth looking into, it's not just Mary that's interesting.
Cromwell tried to take in the third siege in the civil war and (supposedly) stayed in a pub called The Dog and Partridge on the High Street

ANJOU is a region in France- pronounced AHN-JOO.
Try Carisbrooke Castle in, I believe Hampshire. A complete castle and beautiful.
Cariabrooke is on the Isle of Wight. Used to visit a lot when I was a kid. Back before Covid-ville struck, they tended to have a lot of family fun day things
