@Rick-ss8fp The engine swap has now become a winter project my friend (too much on the go right now). Expect an upload late next spring!
Hey man, Love the build. Hearing that your motor blew kinda scares me haha. My revup blew a few months ago and got it swapped for a regular DE 50k miles. I have an HKS supercharger i’m abt to put on that stock block. I plan on 350-375 whl. Hopefully that’s safe bc it’s my only car haha. Although i do have money aside for a new engine if worst comes to worse. What do you think? Should i slap it on? Was also wondering what size injectors u were running? and size fuel pump. Thanks for your time man, have a great day!!
@chancelegaspi832 Hey man, keep it under 400whp and you'll get plenty of life out if it! I was running 630cc injectors and a walbro 255. Currently have a walbro 350 and same size injectors for my new built engine. Hoping to make over 500whp! 😁
@@CarsAndBasss That’s so sick bro!! I plan on only 375whl max so hopefully that’ll be fun. All the tuners in my area recommend I go 1000cc. Isn’t that too big?
@chancelegaspi832 1000cc is definitely overkill for the power youre planning on running. It certainly leaves you room for more gains in the future though.
What’s all you had to do for the engine to support the fi ? I’m planing on going that route when I get mine
I've put a list of all of my mods in the description. The block is stock.
How was the car to drive before the motor blew? I'm thinking of supercharging my rev-up but I wouldn't try to make more that 380 to keep the car reliable. would you go back to Tony at dynamotorsports? or do you think his tune caused the engine to blow?
3 years of redlining a stock DE block every day of its life made the engine blow up not the tune haha. Tony is a God, ill be going back to him 100%.
@@CarsAndBasss I’m glad you’re still going back to him. My G has 345k kms on it and it has been tuned by tony since around 325k. I’ve tracked my g over 15 times with the tune and it hasn’t skipped a beat, he is an excellent tuner.
In your opinion, do you think I should through a supercharger on my g with that many kms? Like I said previously I wouldn’t push it past 380hp to try and keep it reliable. Is that a bad idea, especially because I track it?
But it was a monster man, so much usable and fun power. And the sound is unreal, with the right exhaust VQs sound fierce. 400whp is perfect for winding back roads.
@V35_Obsidian yeah with that many clicks, i wouldn't suggest it.
@@CarsAndBasss ya that sounds amazing! My g is making 290 and 270 right now, which feels pretty good tbh on tight winding back roads. It just seems to be lacking a bit on the straight aways at TMP Cayuga. Have u ever tracked your z?
How many miles on the stock block?
130,000km!
