Loving all the new people and channels I met the past few months but it is also putting a hole in the wallet because I keep seeing books I never heard of and now have to find and get.
What a cool lot of comics! I try to pick up the King Comics whenever I find them but that rarely happens. I think I have only two of them in my collection. Mandrake and the Phantom are among my favorite characters. They were both created by Lee Falk before Superman and all the superheroes that followed. I've never seen or heard of Quincy! Those issues must be pretty scarce.
I believe it was Dr Silverage that was showing those comics off so I bought the two lots of 4 off Ebay and then after I get them I see some others pop up on the claim sales so I am getting a nice collection of them recently, looking forward to reading them.
yeah, that popeye/beetle/blondie is super cool. wish there were tons of comics like that, plus an extended Hagar the Horrible story. Love the early popeye art style, especially the way back popeye books in the 20s and 30s. Although I have bad dreams (not scary) when I read too much of the early, early Popeye stuff before bed. (Did a test print tonight for "Vamp and Curmuffin." Colors look good, so I'll going to print out the five for ya. It will take a bit though to fold, staple, and trim them. Hopefully, will have them ready for you next week.)
I have been coming across a lot of great comics lately with multiple character stories put together, on Dr Silverage shows and others I have been seeing cartoon books I never heard of that now I have to search for. I used to have nightmares about eating my spinach too 😆 No hurries on the books, take your time. I still have to get ahold of some other books for my plan anyway. Thanks

Love King Comics! I buy them in the wild whenever I see them.
They do carry a lot of great series, just found another one of the double comics tonight for $2.
