I know it is a different from the repertoire we are used to but this is a personal favourite of mine and decided it's worth a video.

Very nice transcription! One suggestion to improve it would be to change the thirds in the pedal point to octaves at 1:17 because playing those thirds at that place especially with the jumps is very demanding and somewhat unpianistic. Absolutely no problem otherwise!

I think it’s not unpianistic and definitely playable but it does make it somewhat harder

@@blacksky492 it is, as he said, somewhat unpianistic because of the repeated notes. in classical, you'll see that other measures are taken to avoid those repeated notes, and still maintaining the same aesthetical texture and idea

@@funnyuser2796I only slightly agree because it’s not that hard to play because it’s just like repeating a chord not super fast but alternating between omitting bottom and top

@@blacksky492 well I agree with you, it's not THAT hard to do, but you're underestimating the stress of needing to focus the weight of your hand back and forth, on each side, making it more difficult than just repeated chords because relaxing your hand, wrist and forearm, and specifically, to play with your hand instead of your fingers.
Try playing one repeated chord for a while, with a relaxed arm and hand. Then try doing it but with this technique we're discussing, while keeping the same quality. It causes you to tense very quickly, compared to repeated chords.
