That is so doable and an interesting idea. I had to check out one of your older videos on facing a quilt. I followed your directions easy peasy, thanks for sharing……
What a great project and instructions, Kim! I've been looking for a good quilt-as-you-go project, and I think this is it, especially because it's reversible! Thanks for another great video! 🤩
Thanks for another QAYG quilt option. When I am working on a project that involves going back and forth between different stitch lengths, different decorative stitches or different colors of thread, I will set up a second machine nearby that I can sew on without lots of going back and forth with machine settings or thread colors.
There are different ways to join QAYG blocks together. Check out my channel for a couple of ways to do this. Just search for "quilt as you go".

Glad it was helpful!
Thanks!
Thanks so much for your support. I appreciate it!

That's a great idea and, since I have several machines, I'll try that. Thanks for the suggestion!
Great idea and demo Kim! Can you demo how to stitch the blocks together, without sashing perhaps, in the next video? TYIA💕🧵
Instead of using the pen, I fold and iron to get my lines.
How do you join the blocks together?
