Zeb is my fav so far too, can easily use his body and face for Jaro Tapol (Cal Kestis’ master in fallen order games). I still can’t believe we got Rebels in TVC, a dream come true for me! Would love it if the completed the Rebels crew for S1 (Ezra, Hera, Sabine).

@@davidgercken4729 Has there been any word on when the Ghost will be shipping to backers? I just checked my email and I couldn’t believe it’s been over 10 months since I backed mine. Can’t wait for my sample to arrive finally!
1:34 I’ve always been one of those collectors that, as long as the figure is well done and/or “looks cool”, I’ll usually get it. Even if I don’t enjoy the series or film it’s from. And Master Sol is *definitely* a cool and well done figure. Even if the series he’s from is rather lackluster.
I think Sol being high on a ranking for this year would age well, I think he’s a missing link for them to make new from the ground up Jedi figures and honestly the mastery of the Jedi robe on him is worth nothing by itself!
@@stevenangel8235 That’s what I’ve been thinking, too. I could totally see them retooling Sol and other Acolyte Jedi figures into something like a Jedi Knight 4-pack or something similar
I loved the Acolyte and am definitely getting Master Sol. The actor’s performance made him one of my favorite Jedi
All excellent indeed, great review. My list is not just about the figure itself, but also the card back. R2 is my favorite character and the clean build a droid VC149 on that spectacular 96 cardback so far is my favorite for 2024. Followed closely by Leia. The Manadalorian Judge would be my 3rd. Fleet Commander would be my 4th. And for 5th, as much as I love Dooku, I have to go with the Attack of the Clones Phase I Clone Trooper because of that gorgeous card. But Dooku is right there as an honorable mention for me. If Zeb and Jango were on actual card instead of Deluxe boxes, I would have had to rethink my list.
There's plenty to quibble about with Hasbro's character selection but there's no doubt that in terms of sheer design quality, 3.75" Star Wars figures are the best they've ever been. Emily and co are extremely talented and I hope that Hasbro are paying them well. Although I suspect that most of Hasbro's penny-pinching goes towards things like a 12 million dollar bonus for their CEO for having brilliant ideas like "fire 10,000 people"
I loved Dooku, very long overdue. Can’t believe he took this long. I’d love one that has a Darth Tyranus name pill on ROTS card. He has been my favorite so far with probably Jango deluxe #2 but I think Dooku has the best card so far and Jengo from TVC 1 is one of my top 3 cards from the first release. Thanks again Tim, always love your insight and lives with TVC and Victoria. MYFBWY.

Leia looks amazing. I really hope soon Luke skywalker farmboy, Ben Kenobi and Han Solo from ep4. New headsculpt like Leia is all I need.

Actually, there is a brief moment where you see a live-action Kanan. In "Ahsoka", when taking her usual seat on the Ghost, Hera has a black-and-white photograph of Kanan. This was shot with Freddie Prinze Jr. as Kanan, and I think his figure looks a lot like Prinze as well. Definitely a figure to grab!
The all-new figures that we've had so far this year have been surprisingly good. While Leia is great, I believe Dooku is better as a full package. Posing it without much trouble was more than enough, perhaps the most fun I'd posing a TVC figure since the most recent Vaders (the ANH just shows that the TVC team has mastered it at this point). I unfortunately do not have Zeb or Kanan but I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be able to find them. My wish is that there will be a better Ezra figure that isn't a one-off. Peridia, Night Trooper or early Rebels so I can complete the crew in my own way.
Hey Bossk that's a nice list and all, but mines would have been Krrsantan, but anyhoo nice review.
Krrsantan is awesome but he came out in 2023.

My top five figures would be almost the same as your top five figures, with Jango Fett at number five as well, but my number four is Stormtrooper, and at number three is also Princess Leia Organa, while at number two is Artoo-Detoo (R2-D2), and my number one is again also Zeb from Rebels, I chose those ones because I have those one and Darth Vader for this year so far, I'm looking forward to getting Esra and Kannan soon, and later this year is Jabba The Hutt and I'm also getting myself the E-Wing Starfighter, which has a great looking droid😁😁😁😁

The vintage collection at st needs to come with a translucent stand like the speeder bike.

Great video, Tim! Can't really argue with these choices, though I don't have Kanan in-hand yet. Once I do, he may beat Zeb - but only by a hair.
Dooku’s head sculpt is bang on, if I were to knock a point off him for anything it would be the top of cape doesn’t seem to sit right
yeah i'm not thrilled with the cape.
Where's jango's flames?!! It's been a great turn around for tvc starting with the rotj of 2023 releases!! 2024 and 2025 look great. I love this hobby
it seems that you and i got the "bad" version of zeb, and the running change has corrected paint apps with lighter face paint that looks more like the cartoon. i feel this one looks more realistic though so i'm fine with it.

Question about your version of Kanan Jarrus. The two samples I’ve acquired both seem to be missing paint apps on his lit lightsaber hilt, especially at the top emitter portion. Mine is very translucent. Wondering if this is a common issue or I’ve unfortunately had a bit of bad luck.
Still waiting to get Kanan and Zeb but I'm sure they'll be my top 2 too.
Great video Tim, totally agree with your choices. I'm glad we got the Rebels figures in the line, I'm not opening the Ghost figures. Are you opening your Ghost figures when you review it?? Curious to know.

I have Dooku and Jango but still waiting on the Rebels figures and Episode IV wave. There’s a real problem that TVC is not delivering many new and exciting figures at the start of the year. Huyang wave arrived in May for me and I skipped it. Boring assortment and Huyang deco was so poor I couldn’t bring myself to purchase. Hasbro needs a strong launch of product to kick off the year, not leave us waiting 6 months +
What are your top 5 card backs?
I just picked up Luke in pilot gear, Vader, and Klatoian raider from the vintage collection can’t find Leia or R 2

Dooku, Leia, Disney Parks TC-14, Phase 1 Clone Trooper, R2-D2 are my top five. I'll decide the order when we put together top tens in December. I didn't buy the Rebels figures so I can't rate those.
No mention that the wolfman Arleil Schous wasn't unlocked? The Cantina may have been backed, but it wasn't a total success. The apathy from fans that's been caused by Disney Star Wars has now affected their enthusiasm for Haslab VC projects. That and Haslab's outrageous prices is why I didn't back it and will wait for the Tonnika Sisters and Nabrun Leids to hit the secondary market next year.
Good luck, buying those figures on the secondary market next year will probably cost as much as just backing a cantina would have done.
you may end up spending more than $400 just for those figures.
