    My favorite container is zip tying together two clear 16 oz storage containers. As well tape shut. I tried this method last winter in Montana and even though they were surround in snow it worked! It can't wait to start this year. Just today I bought my zip ties, tape and potting mix.

I just found your channel a few days ago so I'm going back and watching some older ones. You have a beautiful allotment!! You are very knowledgeable about growing beautiful veggies! I'm in the US and had never heard of allotments until I saw another channel that has one. I have a large garden in my back yard. They look very good, I'm interested to see what kind of harvest we get (already there is a wild rabbit and flea beetle so I'm hoping they don't eat too much). Also, do brassicas only need covering at certain times of the year to protect from insects?

    Hello Jessie, Everything there is so green. We are just opening the door to the warm weather. I got about 50 brassicas transplanted outside yesterday. Still 2 weeks away from tomatoes coming out but I can start the hardening off in a week. All the potatoes are planted, garlic is up and looks so good this year best May garlic in some time. I am still sowing my onion starts everywhere here and there. Sweet potatoes, okra and peppers are about 10 days away. Time is lining up like transplant appointments on the calendar.
    Hello, and you are? I am okra here to be transplanted in the garden. Oh I am so sorry you are 10 days early you will need to come back at your appointed time. OK Cya then....
    I am intrigued by the Achocha plant I will definitely watch how you get on with yours and most likely order them for next year.
    I am so glad your spring is going well excited to soo how the garden goes for you and mom this season. Stay safe bye for now

      Very sweet how protective you are of Jessie. Let me explain, I am not harassing her: I had one replied from Jessie and I know my emails are going into her “dangerous” folder. So what I am trying to do it is to make sure it is easy for her to find my email. I just what to make sure she gets her BAG seedling.
      Don’t blame you, we all love Jessie and want to look after her 🤗🤗🤗

    • @neverwise
      @neverwise Год назад

      @Gina Valcke Gina, that's absolute nonsense. Jessie doesn't need random people on youtube to protect her, I replied to you because you've done this before (more than once) and I'm calling you out, again. Have you considered the possibility that Jessie is capable of setting her own boundaries and you have (multiple times) tried to overstep in an entitled and bossy way? She's also generally insanely busy with work projects and has thousands of subscribers and emails. Your comment on this public forum, made less than 24 hours after you claim you emailed Jessie was another example of you switching forums of communication to try to get Jessie's attention and force an aknowledgement and interraction. Other subscribers have noticed and it's coming off as love bombing and controlling and it's uncomfortable to see it play out in public. Less than a year ago you spammed Jessie on multiple social network platforms to point out you'd offered tomato seedlings and hadn't received a 'no thank you' or any aknowledgement. You used the same kind of passive-aggressive language and false courtesy in that message. People who create content are busy with their own lives, work and family and friends. They may make content but their boundaries still deserve respect. They don't automatically owe anyone a reply and especially don't owe a response to manipulative public comments from people clearly trying very hard to meet them in person. It's weird and controlling behaviour, Gina.
