Great video and an amazing product. I saw them in action when you visited my old house, and I will endorse The Rig as life-changing for so many people!
A bike or riding lawn mower canopy accessory could be attached to this bike as well, and one could place the golf cart rain jacket over that, then, a basket could be added to the back of this bike that would hold a Solar Power Station, and then panels, even one, could be attached to the roof and then the person riding would have endless power and the battery would stay charged :) So many wonderful possibilities.
I know this is a late comment but when I saw the original version of this I was thinking it would be the perfect solution for me because I have Tourette’s and it is difficult sometimes for later regular to wheeled bicycle safely. So I got creative and put one together for myself.

Unfortunately insurance doesn’t help pay for items for getting around outdoors, and people on a fixed income can rarely afford something that costs $4,000. I had to buy my second manual chair because the one insurance bought me wasn’t very good. I got one built for all terrain meant for third world countries because I got it for $800 when they first started selling them in the US. It is steel and weighs 40lbs but it is a tough chair. Before I wound up in a chair myself I used to modify or even build bikes for disabled riders. They had to be able to use feet or hands to peddle and I modified the gearing on several to make them super low range. I gave them away, but since I was on a fixed income from my disability I couldn’t afford to electrify them. The object was to get people out doing things hopefully together. I would fix up used bikes and make sure every member of the family had an opportunity to ride with the disabled person.its amazing how many didn’t want to ride with their disabled family member. This machine of yours looks like a good solid machine and I’m glad to see you occasionally donate one. My wife’s 1st handcycle cost about $1900. We spent 2yrs working to get a grant to get it. She rode that for several yrs putting several thousand miles on it until a guy backed over her. The new one she had to get was $3000. By the same company. They are not cheap. Keep making them, more disabled people are getting out nowadays.
Where can I get one and how much I'm a disabled veteran from a stroke my right side is paralyzed and I can only lift my foot about a foot can I get on one stranded any info apreciated
What’s the specs of the wheel hub motor and the over electric that rigged the bike with ? I’ve seen a lot of different motored and speed controllers and options... I like that digital monitor screen too !
Considering dimensions, that would fit in most europeans pickups that have only front seats and a "large" bed Wouldn't fit in most of these "wanna be us trucks" that are 5 seats and short bed though. I think in europe you'd most likely use a trailer behind your car
I've heard that the batteries give you about 20 miles of usage. Is it necessary to removed them fro charging? Can more batteries be purchased? It looks like installing a new battery is quite simple.
From what I saw of the not a wheelchair video, it comes with either one or two batteries... I dont see why you couldn't stack more on the back and just plug them in as needed. The 2 battery option apparently gives you 35 miles.
The batteries appear to be Bosch. As long as you stick with the same mounting interface and voltage (36v, I believe) you can get as big "Ah" (amp-hour) as you want. 36v/15Ah cost about US$800 (in 2021)

how do i get on the list for a possibility of receiving a rig ? im going to make one out of 2 bikes like one of the videos that Jerry rig everything made. ive been in a wheelchair for 7 years because of transverse myelitis and m.s. i push myself all over the small town of chandler oklahoma in my tilite chair but one of these would be outstanding and could possibly even take my husky for a walk as i do with my Chibcha in my standard chair. but meantime im going to build 2 bikes together

He said it "granted", it's just a subtle "t" in the middle for a lot of types of American accents. And even if he'd said it with the common error of "granite", it wouldn't matter one bit. Pointless thing to comment about. I'm a language nerd as much as anyone but being pedantic is dumb.
