    The previous owner of my boat used Copper Coat and I continued....so far, I am impressed. I've been in the water (Florida) for 6 months and when the diver came to clean the bottom, the hull was clean....no growth whatsoever!! When people have issues with Copper Coat not working, I suspect they didn't apply/sand it properly. I spent a week with 320 grit sanding (burnishing to expose the copper)...it was painful for sure but the results speak for themselves.

    Molto interessante. Io ho cc ma devo rifare la chiglia e alcuni ritocchi. Volvevo chiederle se sulla base della sua esperienza per i ritocchi devo togliere tutta l’ossidazione (il verde) e se la chiglia va scartavetrata prima di rimettere la barca in acqua. La ringrazio

    Are you not to sand the copper coat after painting.?

    • @sea4see

    • @t147han
      @t147han 3 года назад

      @@sea4see I mentoned it because anybody else that does it for themselves would need to know this.So many have made the mistake not sanding.And also when haul out, sand each time.This is why the more coats you put on the better.

    • @sea4see

      Great this is true!!! at the end I got 7/8 layer.. the problem is that nobody or very few do for them self...and rely to the marina or shipyard.. not my case😉
