I think this was filmed early 2020. And I know her brother Tony Turrunen sings with her during the show. Her Husband Marcello is her manager. Tarja calls her fans her winter storm. She would not be here doing this if the fans did not support her. Since she was 18 and 1st singing with Nightwish through to today. She found her place writing music and performing it. The fans love it and her and knowing that she has that love and support inspires her to keep going. Love of a family at home and love of her family on the road, her band and crew. Her winter storm. She remains humble and grateful. Nothing is guarenteed so love it fully while you have it. I can and do speak for me when I say I love who she is and what she does and how she does it.

I think i heared looong years ago, before Tarja was even born, that if you study music, its mandatory to play some piano also, no matter what your main instrument is. And Tarja studied here in Germany. So maybe thats still true 👍🤔 Could also be true for Japan, since i read that everybody from Lovebites in the end also can play piano. Of course not on Miyako level.

Dude this song is the shit, it is so good, the whole triad of In the Raw is mind-blowing, Spirits of the Sea, Silent Masquerade and Shadow Play. To be honest, The Shadow self might have lost its first place as my favourite album to ITR because there is not one single weak song on this album. Yeah, Tarja is a master singer, but I wish people would look past that already, and see how good she is as a composer too. In my humble opinion, this concert is Tarja's representation of her metal career. Act I is pretty much her tamed, classic, elegant, by the book self. Act II is bold, experimental, splits opinions between fans due to her low-key, contemporary singing and the black and white footage. The Circus life is progressive, technical, opulent sounding, there are just so many layers to all the songs, new arrangements, so many musicians, the unique venue, the perfect celebration of a very creative and successful solo career. She picked Chiara, Toni, and Clementine as backing singers. Two drummers, a string quartet, Christian, Alex, Julian, Doug, the nice baldie drummer, whom I forget the name, the amazing Rafa Bettencourt, I mean a shitload of unbelievably talented people, rehearsed for what 2 days? And boooom magic. I just received my deluxe box edition, and I am delighted to see, just how much detail was put into all the formats, the vinyls, the discs, the pictures, the book, so Tarja. Thanks for sharing.
My absolute favorite song from this album is Spirits of the Sea. And I agree. In the Raw is Tarja's first album where I don't see a single weak song. I've been listening to it on repeat for several weeks now. Her voice has completely matured and is terribly addictive.
There are many instances Tarja playing piano in concerts. I think those are some of the absolute best moments of her concerts. Originally I didn't care the song "You and I". But when she did it with piano: LOVED it. "Until Silence" is another good one. "Loputon Yö + You and I" 2019 Mexico is one of my fav Tarja videos although it is audience captured and includes audience noise.
This performance, I didn't fancy. There are better ones IMHO. I really don't think her vocals fitted in the played song very well. Yeah, I'm sometimes critical. The setup was beautiful, it looked great.

Gothic suits her very well. And here she had the entire philharmonic orchestra. She uses it quite often. I really like how expressive her face is.
