Great review! I found the same info in my research, so glad to hear your pleasant experience with customer service. Would love to see your updated review after traveling with the check in
@@justplans160 hi!! I actually havent been able to use it yet :( My original flight to Spain got cancelled so i ended up having very short layovers & didn’t want to risk losing luggage so i opted to take a carry on. Will definitely do an updated review whenever i get the chance to use it though!!
I’ve been on a similar journey and ended up picking the Beis bag. The Beis carryon has more interior pockets than the Monos and Away carryons, which is a big deal to me!) and I like that it’s expandable. The only thing that had me second guessing my choice is that I find the Beis suitcase to be the least aesthetically pleasing of the 3 brands. It doesn’t come in as many colors and the ones they have are pretty dull (I wish they had colors other than neutrals!), plus I like the sleeker look on the Away and Monos bags (Monos is the best looking of the 3 IMO) over the thick ridges on the Beis suitcase. Still the extra pockets in the Beis bag and the little touches like the bag carrying hook and the padded handle won me over as the functional touches are ultimately more important to me than the looks. I can’t wait to use it on my trip next month!
I actually think the beis & monos have the same amount of interior pockets for the medium sized check in bags which is the one I bought! BUT the pockets do look bigger on the beis so that’s a plus & the fact that it expands also peeked my interest. However, I ultimately think i made the right decision for me! Still love my beis weekender though! & determined to get an away carry on haha all great brands. Glad you’re enjoying your beis so far!
@@jackiesjourneys for the checked luggage, you’re right, they do have the same number of pockets. But for the carryon Monos has just one big pocket on the zipped section of the bag whereas Beis has that section divided into two pockets. I prefer two smaller pockets to one big one for organizational purposes. Plus I thought it was a nice touch that Beis made one of those pockets waterproof so you have a place to stick wet items like swim suits or put stuff you are afraid might leak!
I own a ton of Beis products, including their medium check-in luggage in black. I love Beis, but I 100% agree that Monos is much better quality. I've noticed, as much as I love Beis, that the quality on some of their items aren't always the best. I am in need of a large check-in suitcase and based on my experience with my medium from Beis, I do not want to get a large check-in from Beis. I am leaning towards Monos. I am happy I found your comparison video.
i haven’t actually tried Beis luggage (i only own the weekender & i’m obsessed w it) so my comparison is purely based on research online/other peoples’ reviews but so far REALLY love my monos & don’t have any complaints about it. It did get scuffed a bit after my first trip but they all came out w the magic eraser. Hope you like the monos if you end up going with that!! 😊
This is a check-in sized luggage so yes, it would fit any size laptop safely. However, i believe you’re always supposed to carry your laptop in your carry on luggage when air traveling - not check in due to the lithium battery
You can for car, train and bus vacations only. Never put any electronic in a check in bag for air travel, as there is a risk of the battery exploding. It may not happen, but it’s not worth risking it, plus security might pull you up on it
I like your video, good information. I ordered the Beis and the monos. It was hard I was only gonna keep it. True monos quality is better but I loved the Beis style and the quality was good, but not as good as monos. Monos had my favorite ove green color and Bris didnt. I went with Beis.
Thank you for the comment! Glad to hear the quality on the monos was actually better over beis like the articles said since that’s what i was most looking for. Also glad to hear you chose the one that was best for you!! Both great brands.
Thanks so much for your honest and genuine review-really appreciate it, very helpful!!
Thank you for watching!!! 😊

@@jackiesjourneys hi will you still do an updated review on the monos?
