Yes, the bleeder valve is built so that during the filling process, when the propane is going into the tank reaches 80 percent, liquid will come out of the opened valve. That lets the attendant know the tank is full.
I only have theoutside switch. If you have one on the inside, they both have to be on to use propane. Turning off one of them should work, but I would turn off the outside one. It really easy to see before they start pumping the propane.
@@CampingCoastie What do you mean you only have the inside switch? It looks like you were shutting off the outside switch by pushing it down. Yes, both of mine need to be On for the propane to work or for example if I turn the furnace On. What I was told is the Outside switch stays On (not if you were going to fill the propane tank) but the one Inside is Off until you are going to use it like for the furnace. I have lithium so not sure what else uses propane gas.
I edited the comment. I only have the outside switch, sorry. If you toggle the inside switch on and off inside when you need or don't need propane is okay. When the propane is on it uses a little electricity to keep the valve open on the tank. The Truma can use propane, or electricity, depending of the fuel setting. Some Beyonds had propane stoves early on.
@@CampingCoastie I had to watch a video by Beyond the Adventure a few minutes ago to refresh my memory. They recvd their’s a couple weeks before we got ours. Sunshine State showed how everything works and they recorded it & posted it. I referred to it all the time when we first got ours since they delivered it to us during Covid we didn’t get the Orientation. The inside Propane switch (rocker arm) is last on the Control Panel or first if looking left to right. You are heading north -are you going to MN? If yes, you will need your furnace On unless you like it cool inside during the night.
Perfect timing for this topic. I’ve been putting off refilling my tank. Thanks for sharing.
Great! It's really pretty simple, they do all the connecting and pumping.
Good job Gard!
Thanks
The reason there is propane escaping from the the bleeder valve the tank is full at 80%.

What about inside the Van, do you have a switch to turn the gas Off or On? I have a 2022 and there is on mine.

We are going to Dayton, OH to watch the eclipse. We are going to stay at Wright Paterson AFB for three nights.
