I always worked at my barns over the years as a camp counselor, now I work at my barn practically full time teaching little kid lessons and working with young horses. I also worked at a tack shop for a while, which was fun.

As a tip, if you have patience working with kids is a really good summer job. Camp counselors, tutors(as Nicole said), babysitting. That type of stuff will pay well. Also pet sitting and dog walking are good sources of income as well. I don’t know if this is everywhere but there is a service called “wag” or “wag walkers” I’m not sure which one but you can be a dog walker and or sitter for peoples dogs and I found that a pretty good and flexible job, with the perks of getting exercise. Hope this helped anyone.
you really need to find seasonal or don’t tell them you’re going back to school 😕service jobs have a very high turnover rate anyway and most quit after a month. i don’t really see why they’re entitled to know what you’re doing in three months. hell you could be there longer than someone who comes in with the ‘intention’ to stay for awhile

Just an FYI for anyone trying to apply to 3playmedia as a transcriptionist - I tried applying today August 30th 2022 from Chicago IL, and it looks like they aren't accepting applications from my area. I wonder if they are accepting applications from other areas.

Trying to find a job right now and it’s IMPOSSIBLE no one wants hire someone who can only work 3 months :(

i believe there are other companies that hire transcriptionists! do some googling and maybe you’ll find some that are accepting applicants.
