By the way, you can see on/off blocks in 3D World. I'm suprised they didn't mention it. 2:40

@@TheUltimateRare Well, it wouldn't be a big deal if they existed before the update. But they didn't. And that's a big deal. Contraptions and levels in general in 3DW was kind of lacking behind all other styles due to us not having a proper On/Off block along with many of the other vital features. We don't even get tracks in 3DW. It IS a big deal. By the way, the cute face doesn't help.
I was playing Mario Maker one day and had a idea, that involved the on and off blocks and the super hammer power up. Long story short, my level idea was thrown down the drain.

No, final "major" Updates, we could still get small updates in the future like new power ups.
DLC should also be possible since Nintendo likes to push "update" and "Dlc" as their own thing.
@@TheUltimateRare Yeah makes sense, I mean a whole new extra style even contained as the only thing in one video wouldn't be considered "minor"
The way they started it off by saying it's the last major update makes it seem like anything additional will be VERY small updates to not even bother getting excited for

That's kinda foolish to say. You're forgetting that they can easily make plenty of new and unique enemies, mechanics, gimmicks, and stories for a new 2D mario in the future. It's gonna happen. They will ABSOLUTELY make another 2D mario game. Maker 2 only has some of the thousands of enemies and environmental interactable objects that the Mario franchise has made. What about evil piano? Bronzer? That dragon eel from New Super Mario Bros. U? Etc., etc.

they are wearing super mario brothers 2 outfit from powerup to ride enemies. it allows you to ride basically all enemies.
Ngl, I hate that the title says it's the final update. It's the final MAJOR update. They'll probably still update the game to fix bugs and to add tiny things in.

Super mario 2.5 World
The one stupid thing was the limit of 6 offline worlds or 1 online world per account. The worlds hardly take up data compared to the levels. Why not allow 20 online worlds and 100 offline per account? Sigh.
Greed and low space capacity... Nintendo pay the bills of servers and they try to limit the price of the data bandwidth and stockage, and when there will be less people, they'll cut it.
For offline it's arbitrary and there's probably a reason, economic or technical.

they didnt put things i needed In the update I need the underwater fort/castles/airship and torpedo bills also moving ghost house platforms/blocks from the super mario world theme >:/
Also they didnt fix bowser throwing bombs he needs to be throwing mechkoopas while riding the clown car and we need peach throwing us mushrooms :/ i also need the princess peach in a cage sprite

@Calebe Souza While I would love it if more stuff was added, I'd be really surprised if any future updates are anything more than more Ninji speedrun states or just general bug fixes

That's not true yes theirs a world builder in mario maker and yes you can make your own mario game.
But you can't just make new mechanics new enemies new power ups etc.
Theirs some things only Nintendo can do.

The way it was introduced as the last major update right away basically means any future updates will likely be VERY minimal like UI changes or server updates

I'm guessing their adding extra minor updates int he future. we need more bosses for 3d world so I hope in the next minor update they add hisstocrat and that one clown boss and maybe prince bully
There might be stuff like better graphics,better textures,glitch fixes,improved multiplayer,new designs and Toad Houses in World Maker,maybe some better AI for the enemies,maybe chat in multiplayer where you can actually type in actual messages instead of just choosing from the options. More chat options would be ok like "It's so laggy" or "Guys,spawn on me!"(the 2nd would only be for Coop).
