so y'all gonna tell me that NOBODY else saw how in the Direct, when they showed 3D World at the beginning, (9:00 in on the Direct), it says "Extra Game StyleS". That's right. Not Extra Game Style. Oh don't worry. A LOT of people have noticed. That's basically what this whole comment section is about lol. Even GameXplain made a video about I think.
I noticed that afterwards but refuse to be optimistic lest I get dissapointed by no SMB2 style
My ideas:
Sunshine style: Fludd, sunshine enemies and bosses e.g. Petey Pihrana etc
Mario Land: Gameboy aesthetic, and features, maybe Wario or Tatanga as bosses.
Oddysee: I don't know how much you could capture and it could be a long time developing, but it would still be amazing. Cap throwing would be vital and there would be no tradional power ups but maybe things like Bowser's Boxing top hat.
Mario Galaxy: Spin jump, gravity stars, launch stars, Cloud Mario.
How about SM64?
just all 3d Mario games in 2d, I thought you could make 3d levels but this will work

This is kinda late, but yeah you can. Just go into Pause menu < Settings < Character. You can't choose a character in Story Mode (assigned to Mario) or Network Play (assigned randomly).

There's a normal and detailed search. I'm guessing what they showed was the detailed search, since it has stuff like tags, game type, style, region, etc. "Search" would probably be keywords.
Ghe seesaw vetical Levels adjustable Lava and the Red ypsh have to be my favorite features so far. Seriously in the Wiiu Verson I always wanted to make tall towers

KEV MK89 take into consideration that it has completely different mechanics, such as walking on lava, which is good, and also being invincible for a few seconds. Which is way more interesting than the generic buzzy beetle/spiny shells.

Awesome. Only annoying thing is that this game basically forces you to get online, otherwise there's not much to do (I mean there's story mode, but the most fun will be building and sharing). So this will cost a lot of money lol
