I saw her only days old interview about her abusive marriage to Nas. How terribly crazy and very sad things turned out to be between them. She said she and Nas should've made it. She said they were both crazy in love. Like the Roots said, sometimes things fall apart. Well, she got her side of their story all out in the open now. It must be a huge weight off her shoulders taking about what happened. There's no more hiding behind it. Glad to see she's doing well and at peace with her family.

I don't get the hype around her. Specifically I don't know what people see in her music. Her singing voice is annoying, she sounds like she strains, writing is meh, and she has GREAT producers yet under-delivers in performance. Is it her style/sex appeal (like Rihanna)? Aside from that, I also neeeeeever understood how her and Nas clicked and why everyone said they make a perfect couple; like she seems super perky & weird and Nas seems calm and cool.
