Cheers from Tijuana; I just bought a trail camara just like the one your reviwing and I came across your Chanel, very nice explaining you won't believe how much I paid for it... $12 dollars, cos in the flea market here in Tijuana they bring stuff from San Diego to sell here and some times I find good stuff and really cheap. Well I'm going to tested and I post in the comments if it really works. God bless you.
I'm looking for two game cameras for my Texas farm, to monitor deer and hogs, especially at night. You're video convinced me that the Browning Dark Ops would be ideal. Thanks from rural North Texas.
Lpmgato1 Great to hear. The Dark Ops is my favorite camera I have ever owned. not sure how weary hogs are. They probably wouldn’t care about red leds on cheaper cams.
This is a great vid. I recently bought the new HD Night Ops. Little concerned on the specs. It's good for -20 F. Here in Northern New Hampshire it can get much colder than that at times. Hey, trial run starts tomorrow. Great vid WW!
Browning’s are a great value. I have 14 dark ops cameras. Most of which are on public land. Definitely get the metal boxes and lock them up if on public land.i only use the black flash I’m convinced deer see the red flash ir cameras. You must have the 2019 model. All mine are the dark ops 940hd..you can get them now at Walmart or trail cam pro for 110$ if you don’t mind last years model. A few issues but great value! Great review! Thanks!
david kese I do agree the red flash cams definitely spook deer. You have to elevate them at least 6-8 ft then they usually don’t get spooked. I am definitely going to continue to use the dark flash cameras to be safe. But yes I agree the Brownings are great cameras.
Greate review, and you displayed the 12v socket unlike the other vids I have looked at. What sort of 12v battery do you use, auto or something special?
@@wisconsinwhitetail9744 Is there any particular 12v you can suggest do you have to get something special or will an auto battery do the job and if so is there a particular type of adapter needed?
Browning says this is a no glow camera but I heard it was a low glow camera as it was tested as such by the web site Trail Camera Pro. I have 5 Brownings and they are so much better than the Bushnell cameras i use to use. Thanks for sharing.
I walked in from of it in a completely dark room and looked right at it and couldn’t see a thing. The low glow cams you can see some dim red light, but I couldn’t see anything with this cam. I have never used and bushnell cams, I have heard good and bad things about them.
I have 3 Browning Trail cams and the Dark Ops is the best I’ve had as well. For years I have been a loyal Cuddeback user and for Color pictures at night they are the only option, but the video quality of the Dark Ops is awesome. I always lock my cameras in “bear” boxes. Aka anti-theft boxes.
I have heard great things about the cuddebacks cams in the past. But a lot of their cams are even more expensive than the Browning cams. That’s why I ended up getting the dark ops. Have you used some of the cheaper cudebacks under $100?
Wisconsin Whitetail I have never seen a Cuddeback for under $100, I think the cheapest ones I ever bought we’re around $200. I always bought the ones that had the regular night time flash that took color pictures at night ( not IR ) They also had one I think it was the “C series” that had interchangeable flash modules ( IR, Black Flash IR & regular flash) problem was They wouldn’t record video only pics for some reason. I checked with Cuddeback and they said you needed the Apple “ QuickTime video viewer. I downloaded that and still could not view the videos, so I use the Cuddes for pics only . Love the videos I get from the Brownings.
I don’t use cams on video to much so I didn’t even know that the dark ops didn’t have audio. LOL. This winter I bought an Apeman camera only $40. Probably the highest quality camera you can get for under $50. Works great.
Wisconsin Whitetail thanks but that camera is not motion detection camera. I am looking for one for my door for security so I can see it on my phone or desktop through WiFi. Any recommendations? Thanks
Great review! Like my Browning’s but have had quite a few issues in short time with them. I also have a few Lift II cameras so I’m interested to see what you have to say about it. In my opinion the exodus is a better overall camera plus the customer support exodus has is second to none, I message them all the time on social and they answer every and are very helpful. The smart ir feature adjusts the ir brightness for how far the animal is from the camera. For example, in video mode if a deer is far out at the start of the video the ir will adjust brighter to illuminate the animal better and as it gets closer it will adjust the flash lower to avoid the animal being whited out.
What kind of issues have you had in the past? I hope I don’t have to many issues with it in the future. We have had a moletrie and a stealth cam for 3-4 yrs now and they still work fine. Maybe the picture quality has gone down a little. I do agree the exodus is built better and will last longer, but right now the browning takes better nighttime quality footage. The exodus nighttime quality isn’t what I expected from a $220 camera. They are always foggy and sometimes blurry. I will buy a $160 browning before I buy another exodus.
Wisconsin Whitetail My 3 year old spec ops is pealing paint which all my Browning’s cameras have, one did at less than a year old. The spec ops has also started freezing and not reading an sd card until I reset the camera by removing batteries. It also has a crack in the detection circuit cover. So far it still works just is developing some quirks. I bought a strike force pro back in spring of 2017 which is basically the same camera you have but the low glow version. The first one would take black pictures at night and I could never get it to work so I got a replacement and had another issue so I returned it and bought two exodus instead. I haven’t had a single issue in two seasons with them. I wish there was a way for me to send you a few of my videos from my exodus because I believe they take great videos even compared to browning. Definitely the best no glow I have. You can check out my instagram (Joebenne96) I have some videos from my exodus on there.
the deer hear an auditable click noise as these cameras use day and night lenses... so as it switches from day pics to night inferred pics the camera makes a click sound that grabs the deer attention... it does it as dawn and dusk....
Glad it works so well for you. Amazing? Yea, how fast they can separate you from $200. Mine never worked right and you pay shipping to send it back - even under warranty.
I am surprised that it didn’t work well for you, that’s a bummer. It has been working good for me in the past year and It definitely has the best nighttime picture and video quality of any camera we have ever owned. I have very few pictures/ videos of deer looking at the camera at night. I see them online for around $140-$170 now. This is a great camera if your willing to pay a little more.
Finally. The 3rd video I watched about this cam & you were the first to show the mounting options. Well done, you earned a thumbs up. Thank you.
Thanks, it’s not really a very important feature but I hate it when cameras don’t have stic and pic mounting option only the strap mount.

Thanks. The Brownings are still some of the best quality cams I’ve ever owned. I’m sure you will be very happy with your cam.
Thanks for the education, brother. Be safe out there.@@wisconsinwhitetail9744
Great review
Hi, I just bought this camera and I am very happy with it.

Very nice review. Wow you really showed us everything and you have actual experience with it really great review. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply! I have heard good reviews from the exodus lift...let us know you’re review when you get a chance. Thanks
Good review! I just found and joined your channel 👍
Thanks

Ive got the dark ops.. very good camera for the money!!
They are a little pricey, but you totally get what you pay for, hands down the best camera we have ever owned.
What camera is that?
Browning Dark Ops HD Pro, it’s in the title of the video
Wisconsin Whitetail can you recommend a cheaper one with audio? I already got 2 but both without audio and that’s upsetting. Thanks
I don’t use cams on video to much so I didn’t even know that the dark ops didn’t have audio. LOL. This winter I bought an Apeman camera only $40. Probably the highest quality camera you can get for under $50. Works great.

I wouldn’t be able to suggest anything, never have used something like that LOL

I have used exodus on video too but at night it still looks foggy and not as clear.
@@bowhuntingforlife No exodus video now 27 Feb 19
Ralph Douglas What?
how far away can it take a pic at night?
20yds, 60ish ft.

I didn’t know that. It would only do twice a day then, right?
Hi. Does this camera has hybrid mode? thank you
No it does not
👍

You making the big bucks running ads on your trail camera reviews ? How much money you made off this one ? Maybe $8 ?
I have actually made $52 off this single video!
Wisconsin Whitetail that’s the big money for sure.
Dude stop biting your nails, eat a sandwich instead. Great video though! Thanks
Thanks 👍 LOL
