Thanks for doing this blog. Staying here early August 2024 & your video has really reassured me. It looks. like we are in for a good stay for our 1st Disney vacation. 😊
My wife and I used stay at The Biltmore down town Loa Angeles the rooms started at $495 a night but they would run a weekend deal at $250 for Friday and Saturday stay. We had season tickets at Ahmanson theatre for 6 plays a year witch are like Broadway in New York, top name actors play in them. I got to meet and talk to lots of stars, Charlton Heston was the President of the Screen Actors Guild for a few years. Had breakfast at the table next Willem Defoe and his family a lot of actors stayed there. One time we were checking out and some secret agents were at the desk to set up a stay for the President Reagan to secure the Hotel we he was to arrive. Got to talk to so my actors that was the good thing to live in Southern California those days.
Wow super jealous of all that! Meeting them would have been cool and sounds like you got to experience so much! That’s a great deal for a place out there. Would like to do a quick visit to LA sometime!
@@thealtemlife I’m not sure that would be good to do California is not what it used to be I move out of California in 1993 after 46 years of living there a lot of great memories it’s where I met my wife. It really started changing around the late 1990’s but I saw it’s changes coming. Politics made it bad. I did meet lots of actors there. We went to Las Vegas a lot because it only was 3 half drive from my house we ran up on a long weekend stay. One year we went the were opening a new indoor mall and Charlton Heston was the special celebrity there for the grand opening everyone formed a line and you got shake his and get a autograph photo of him, there were a lot of people there and when it came are turn we were big fans and wife is not shy they started talking and she told about we were seasoned ticket holders for the Ahmanson theater and that all it took they sat talking about plays and things and it was going on 10 minutes like they were long lost friends and the people in line we’re getting angry so left but that’s my wife I didn’t say anything kind of shy.
Been looking at this hotel for a possible Disney trip next year late August 2024. Main thing I want to ask is was access to and from the parks good on the shuttle service? We care a family of 5 and looking to stay at SpringHill would you recommend it...?👍👍😎😎
Hello! It was a great stay and a great location! As far as the shuttle, we are locals so we never took it but it sounded like as long as you schedule with the front desk, it shouldn’t be an issue. We would advise calling the front desk before you go and just asking them about the shuttle to be sure. We hope you have a great time and thanks for watching!
Hello! Not sure if it officially labeled “good neighbor” however, they do offer shuttles to Disney and have a concierge counter to help with Disney planning. Hope that helps!
Yes, both The SpringHill Suites and The TownePlace Suites at Flamingo Crossings are designated as Disney Good Neighbor Hotels, with an on-site Disney Planning Center as well.
Thanks for showing this hotel! I'm pleasantly surprised. They seem to have more amenities and fun things to do than where I stayed at in May. Here's my tour of Fairfield Inn & Suites just across the street from this place! ruclips.net/video/OPOzOJXj3yI/видео.html
Check out our video at 11:38. It shows what the area looks like. I believe that is it for that one. Since it is connected to Towneplace Suites, they probably have a laundry room like this one. Hope that helps!
Looked great! Lots of amenities and love the free breakfasts.
Yeah free breakfast is a plus! Really close to Disney is a huge perk!

You are welcome! It’s close to the parks and in a nice area. We hope you have a great time!
You got me with a Five Guy's and a Starbucks across the street 🎉
Haha great location! There is a lot being developed in that area!
Thanks for the review I'm currently looking at this one, was there any extra resort fees you get hit with upon checking in?
You are welcome! It’s a good place to stay! They just have the $10 parking fee and that’s all the fees they have. Very close to Disney!
So stayed in a few springhill sweets had 2 bathrooms. Must be older. Love firmer beds too
Oh 2 bathrooms would be really nice to have! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you

Is this one of Disney's good neighbor hotels?

Hi does this hotel have guest laundry facilities
Yes! It has a laundry facility to wash and dry clothes. Of course it does cost but it’s a pretty big laundry area.
Thanks is there more than one such laundry room@@thealtemlife

@5:18 they spelled Starbucks wrong LOL.
Haha they actually told us later that they found that error after watching the video! Good catch!
