- I run a couple of tests on the big boys of the Rambler range of bottles and jugs the 64 oz Rambler Bottle was a surprise performer in the range on cost and weight
Very informative and helped me to make a purchase. Appreciate you doing this video.
Thanks for the positive feedback its greatly appreciated regards Mike
I’ve got the 1 gallon jug and the 64 oz bottle. Bought the 64 oz before I saw this review…glad I did!
If I hadn't had the one Gallon for a few years in a hot climate I probably wouldn't of picked up on the lower performance of the 1/2 gallon regards Mike
Thank you for the simple, detailed explanation!
FWIW: I will be returning the 1/2 jug, purchasing the 64oz Rambler then the 1 Gallon after this video. 🫢
Thanks for the positive feedback Mike
Excellent video, thanks for posting!
I'm looking for a new water bottle and was all but set on the 64oz rambler but I may just splurge on the 1 gallon jug. Gotta start being more healthy!
If I have iced water in the car I less likely to buy sodas if I want a soda the gallon can hold four as a mini cooler
Just ordered the half jug. Saw the 64oz same amount of liquid but the jug looks badd ass 😂
I jugs are cool and don't tend to fall over in the car while driving regards Mike
Thanks Mike!!! A great comparison. There’s quite a big difference between the 64oz bottle and 1/2 gallon jug. I still love the design of jugs. Just means I may need both for difference scenarios 😂
I learned how much ice is used to drop water down to 0 centigrade and its much more than I thought 😩I knew that to cool a esky was two kilos of ice might keep my eye out for a old chest freezer big enough to fit my coolers inside to pre chill and make ice blocks
Yeah you basically need to make a full ice slurry to cool that much. Definitely do that’s a great idea. I must say I do like block ice it works a treat.
I realized that one of the benefits of the yeti is durability. The water will stay cold for more or less the same as competitors but it’ll be way more durable
I have had great long term success with my Yeti products and they have good back up if needed
Best part of the 1/2 gallon rambler is that you can drink it one handed… and you can get a straw cap for it… the 1/2 gallon jug is unwieldy for 1 hand… it can be done but not convenient
I have just got some of the bigger straw caps and they great in the car as I can open them without looking
Need more ice in the jug for it to stay the bottle is more narrow so the ice all stays compact next to eachother, I have the 1/2 gallon jug and the 64oz bottle and when I put a solid amount of ice in the jug it out preforms any of my other bottles
Can you do a video of how many days in the yeti gallon jug to see how many days it stays cool. I seen a video of a guy who states that his gallon jug from ozark trail, he’s say it stays cool for 4 days. Can you do that video with the gallon
I did one a couple of years back have a look in my play list about five days from memory
