Off the 2 ep you guys seen I like how the show plays on both sides doing good but they have so much resent meant towards each other they don’t see it. it isn’t a typical good or bad side
@Trill (Shamonda) I honestly feel that they are feeling the same thing they (Danny & Johnny) went through as children themselves. They wrote it to make it seem more appealing to this generation. But so far, so good. Thanks for spending time with us!
Shamonda, I promise you, you will start to fall in love with the series by the end of season 1. Unless you didn't like the original movies. But if you liked those movies, you will love the series. It gets quite emotional at times. So you better have some tissue near by.

@@marriedtofilm oh boy, you are in for a lot of surprises. I actually liked the second one. The third movie was very weak. Ralph Macchio got fat in the third movie. But there is a lot of feels in the series.

Daniel did get beat up a lot in all 3 movies but it was always because some other bigger guy had it out for him for one reason or another. Johnny was jealous. Chozen was acting on his uncle Sato's orders + got rightfully humiliated when Daniel exposed that he was trying to cheat the villagers. Mike Barnes was on Terry Silver's payroll, and Silver was a grown adult manipulating Daniel into hurting himself. It's unfair to imply that Daniel was being a wuss in any of these circumstances. And Ralph I disagree that Daniel has been acting like a jerk. (And the whole "Daniel is a bully" meme has gone too far tbh, so many dudebro fans actually thing it's true.) He repaired Johnny's, his ex-bully, car for free and forgave Johnny for the past, even though Johnny never actually apologized that. In this episode, he confronts Johnny because he was lied to by Kyler. But who was Daniel to believe? The "nice" boy his daughter is dating, or Johnny, his ex-bully who nearly beat him to death once? I would say, objectively and from Daniel's perspective, Johnny has been more of a jerk to Daniel so far. Johnny was hostile to him at the dealership because he has a ton of misplaced resentment towards him, and in this episode, with no context to Daniel, Johnny comes for Daniel's family/daughter, who he doesn't even know personally. "Get your house in order"...says the guy whose son is doing drugs and whose baby momma nowhere to be found. I mean, c'mon lol.
No context?? His daughter crashed her car into his about a week ago. Her friends are assholes who beat up on Miguel. To top that off, she doesn’t defend her childhood friend from her popular bully friends. In my opinion Daniel do needs to get his family in order.
And from Johnny’s perspective, Daniel has been nothing from a nuisance so far, when he is simply attempting to open a dojo and do something with his life for once. Don’t worry bro we are two episodes in, we can go on about this.
4:11 I've watched this show and reactions to it several times and I still want to know what they were doing at this hot yoga place to have a scabies outbreak, in most instances scabies needs a relatively long duration of physical contact (about 10 minutes) to spread from person to person. I mean it's possible to happen faster or through other objects but in that case the infected person usually has a damaged immune system and severe case of scabies which would be noticeable.
Both Johnny and Daniel have their jerk moments but neither of them are bad guys in this series, just misunderstandings and letting their grudges get in their way and Daniel is a jerk memes aren't meant to be taking seriously just like the satire video, Daniel is the real bully. I also disagree about Daniel being a wuss, since he was getting beat up by guys much bigger than him who were also better fighters besides he always won in end. As for Chozen in part 2, Daniel didn't disgrace his honor, he accidently exposed him of cheating other villagers then saved a girl's life and Chozen was too scared to help him which led to him being branded a coward.
