Hi Justin I would add some red LEDs in the boat enough to see around your feet without affecting your night vision when you don't need all that light.

Another trick with the water is to make it warm. Not too hot, just like a nice warm shower. Then soak it for a few minutes to warm up the line before spooling it on. This helps to remove the memory of the line and set it on the reel. I’ve found much less tendency to “rats nest” with newly spooled line.
    Interesting vid!

To make the seat more stable, an easy fix is an ally plate (or ply) to fit under the bench seat, four holes for the lazy Susan and some new ss bolts and lock nuts. That will spread the load. Happy, healthy and safe 2023 to you and the crew.🎉 15.31

You can add a set of roof rack tracks under seat, and use the locking sliders on base of it to make seat slide port or starboard, and lock in place. Gives a slight lift to seat also.

as a fellow diesel fitter, retired. here is a hint showed to me by a boily, rub every thing with acetone before welding it makes the pool run like silk and the weld look like as the boilys say,
weld porn, even when done by a fitter, I had to do many and various weld repairs to a alloy low loader , you can imagine the horror story,... each year to get it past road worthy.
no boily would touch it so I had to weld it.
the difference acetone made is amazing.
why a alloy low loader ,well the owner was well known around town,.... by this saying.
if camels where the go,... ray would buy donkeys,.. and strap humps to their backs.
