    Just received mine and my son’s Boonie with Triple Stack in Green .019; Red .019; Green .010
    I’ll say that I’m a big fan of vertical pins and the ability to adjust each pin, that coupled with the new lighter weight Boonie and the new adjustments and ease of use make this a winner in my book!

      Great setup! Thats how I ordered mine back in 2022.
      I would like to get my hands on a Boonie Triple-Stack in a pic mount.

      @stacyhardin611 sounds like a killer setup.
      Did you see the new Sevr Hybrids 😳? I think I'm going to try those this year.

    How hard is it to get this product at the local pro shop or direct through spot Hogg? Thank you for an awesome review!! deciding between this sight or the HHA Terta Ryz X3 3 pin or UV slider Have a great fourth of July!!

    • @MichiganAmBushOutdoors
      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors  3 месяца назад

      Spot Hogg told me they aren't listing them on their sight until they fill all orders for the bow shops, so I wouldn't count on being able to buy them directly for some time.
      If you call Sunrise, they will likely ship one to you.
      Both the HHA and UV are great options, but I prefer the UV over the HHA.

    Just wondering how they got 6? Been waiting since February for mine.

      I talked to Spot Hogg, and they said each shop was only getting 5-6 to start. After that, who knows how long it will take to get them back in stock?

    Why would someone spend $100+ more on this versus the much lighter CBE Trek 3V Pro? Genuine question.

    • @MichiganAmBushOutdoors
      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors  3 месяца назад +1

      Great question! The biggest difference is the durability and reliability. Spot Hogg is one of the toughest-built sights out there, so not having to worry about failures in the field makes it easy for some people to justify the higher price point.
      Also, it’s made in the 🇺🇸 👊🏼

    My question is besides the weight why would you buy this over the Hogg Father? I have a triple stack hogg father and its top tier and doesnt get the respect it deserves as being one of the best

    • @MichiganAmBushOutdoors
      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors  3 месяца назад +1

      In my opinion, the updated roller wheel, the ability to swap out sight tapes, and the new lock were a significant improvement.
      Also, the tighter tolerances to the left-to-right adjustment lever and removing the scope housing rattle was nice.

    What was the weight? Is it lighter ?

    • @MichiganAmBushOutdoors
      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors  3 месяца назад

      It was hard to see in the video, but it was 13.1 oz on my scale. It was definitely lighter, but the last sight I had was the triple stack and that compared to the MRT is not a good comparison, so I didn't mention it.

    • @brycepick
      @brycepick 3 месяца назад +1

      @@MichiganAmBushOutdoors Triple stack and the 3 pin MRT are very close to the same weight. Taking the sight light block off the triple stack makes them almost exactly the same weight.

      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors I just got mine, and I love it! I had a CBE tactic micro and the build quality and craftsmanship blows it out of the water. It's like the difference between a cheap kel-tec handgun compared to a custom 1911. It's not even close.

  • @timbow50
    @timbow50 3 месяца назад +2

    Saw another review along with yours. There’s NO WAY this thing is worth nearly $500. Heck, the pins are still adjusted just like 10 years ago. No true micro dial adjustments. IMO, people are not using their $ wisely buying this thing.

      @@brentbandy3566 well yea! There are sights that offer better tech, machining etc. Micro dial pin and windage etc cheaper

    • @MichiganAmBushOutdoors
      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors  3 месяца назад +2

      I would have liked to see a micro-adjust 3rd axis, but it's not a huge deal killer. For people who have run Spot Hogg and enjoy their sights, the boonies are worth it. The weight savings alone will be nice, and the ability to swap out that roller wheel was awesome as well

    • @MichiganAmBushOutdoors
      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors  3 месяца назад +1

      I want to see a Pic mount triple stack to see the weight. Also a double pin. I am considering getting one.

      @@MichiganAmBushOutdoors I agree with you there. I just got a triple stack FE XL and it’s my first SH. I’m really impressed by the bomb proof design. Like you mentioned, it’s hard to believe that when loosening the windage knob, the scope housing loosens up as much as it does when adjusting but it seems to fall back into place when it’s tightened back down. Also, I find shooting out to 100+ yds is a challenge due to the size of the triple stack. However, I find that moving my peep up has helped with that. Regardless, I’ll be buying a boonie next year when they’re more readily available (hopefully).
