Mechanical Safety Edge! Vintage IECO Hydraulic Swing Door Elevator (Replaced COP) in Menlo Park, CA

This elevator has a feature that is rare to find on a swing door elevator: A mechanical safety edge! In this case, I think it is original to the elevator. It's a rubber mechanical safety edge that is squishy but doesn't actually retract.
