Brand: Dover Buttons: impulse Door type: single slide sliding right ▶️ with swing door opening and closing right ▶️ Number of elevators: 2 Number of floors: 7
I live here and I didn’t know that. If you want to, I can show you some elevators at college campuses. Also, o’keefe installed a lot of the Dovers that were in the city
The interlock on the swing door elevator is very weird (mounted to the TOP of the door jamb rather than the side!). Is it retiring cam actuated like a typical swing door interlock, or some weird unconventional setup? It also looks like it may be designed for double swing doors, but in this case only 1 hole is used.
The regular elevator uses a ThyssenKrupp buzz while the swing door elevator uses a longer extended Otis beep.
I like the fast Dover Impulse more than the swing door it’s really slow
1:27 “You want a Butterfinger wrapper?” LOL!!! 🤣🤣
I’d rather have an actual butterfinger, thank you
@@mr.z_yt The 5600 Lb Swing Door Dover sounds like an old Otis Series 1 floor passing chime on a 6 story Impulse.
Very unique!
That’s a very unique set of Dover Impulse Elevators 🛗!
O'Keefe is just a Dover/ThyssenKrupp Distributer. And O'Keefe is still a ThyssenKrupp Distributer to this day.
O’Keefe is defunct now as it was consolidated into TK
Yes I know O’Keefe was a distributer
@@stlelevators ive never seen a swing door dover traction elevator only a hydraulic one

It is interesting how swing door dovers have an interesting chime and I want to ride one sometime believe it or not
swing door elevators are fun.

Elevator 1 the regular Dover elevator 2 the swing door which is very interesting because I love going in order
That first one looks like it’s runs on a TKE TAC controller and I know it’s not. Really nice elevators, epic find.
I would ride these.

This one has a very strange beep
What is the swing door for
Possibly service elevator
I hate the FPC chime on the swing door elevator. I can tolerate the buzz on the other elevator but not THIS GARBAGE
