Thank you for helping us to learn all these beautiful tunes! Thank you for encouraging me to start my journey with the whistles! I started it in Jan 2022 and I am really happy with the progress that Ive made because of you! ❤❤❤❤
Such a cheerful song, I like it very much, thank you, Stephanie! Took me the better part of yesterday afternoon to play it fast enough, but was so worth it! 😃
It's originally a children's song, which appeared all over the UK & Ireland in the 19th century but eventually became most popular for its Irish renditions 😊 there's also a London City version.
I always wondered when you would get to this tune. It's one of my fave sung by the dublinners one of my fave Irish folk group that has a variation of this tune which is lovely to har. Beecame a top fave song of mine thanks to them. Sounds beauitufl on the tin whistle solo.
Hello! ❤❤❤ Can you make a tutorial for the song "Bad Feeling", for a tin whistle D, please? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I'm just starting to learn, I would really like to see a tutorial for this cool song 😢
Love the Irish tunes - thank you! Do you think you could cover Castle jam from a game called Stronghold? There are no tabs to find on the internet, yet it's a very popular song. Have a great one!
The fingerings show open-tone for D but you seem to hit it using all closed. Am I nuts or do you have all your fingers down? I just went down a rabbit hole trying to figure out why the sound is still made using both fingerings and came up with nada so far. I’m hoping to learn this song by St Paddy‘s Day and I’ve gone way off tangent trying to figure out why the open hole still makes the same note as all closed.
It really depends upon what make of whistle you are playing. Some whistles you must hold the top finger off in order to get a clean sounding note for 2nd octave D; however, there are some makers that you can play their whistles with the finger covering the all the holes and you can still get a good clean sounding note. Also on some whistles you can get away with leaving your finger down if you are not blowing very hard but it you are really trying to get your volume up and are blowing hard you will need to raise your top finger. It just depends....
@@Coercer yup 👆🏻 what everyone else said 😁 I also find it quicker and easier on the faster tunes to play this way too, less fiddly for the fingers. If you have a whistle that will allow you to play that way, it's certainly useful at times.
This melody is very beautifull I am a beginner, I am learning to play Tin Whistle, thank you very much for your video tutorial, have you a great day,
Such a cheerful tune! Nicely played, Steph!

Don’t get me wrong. I love this song and I love everything you’re doing I am just I’m so confused right now.
Hm. Are the tabs wrong for D+? Indicates the top one open, but you're holding all the holes closed?

What key is this please
@@dylanbob82the whistle is in the key of D major
The backing track music is ridiculous. Please play melody on its own !
I guess you didn't watch the actual video...Where I play the melody on its own, not by note as a tutorial, and slowly afterwards 😁👍
