this is crazy i was told the ABSOLUTE opposite in regards to movement post surgery. SAME DAY post op. I was specified to walk atleast twice that day to prevent blood cloots. following days. day 2-5 postop I was also required to get outside to walk 5 times per day aswell as keeping my compression socks on 24/7 days 1-10 post op.
I was up and moving about 2 hours after surgery. taking 15 min walks along the beach. the helped me PROFUSELY in my recovery as I was not in pain and could handle the walks. It also helped tire me out for better sleep and reduce cabin fever by changing my surroundings and getting fresh air.
Absolute opposite? Moving inside is still moving.

@@neshillia because of post surgery depression no body talks about it and drs say its an easy procedure dont worry .. its not it took me 2 month to get back to work I couldn’t drive for at least 6 weeks I couldn’t go to the toilet by my self for 2 weeks it was hell 😖
