1. Analog signals do not transmit easily over long distances.

3. Analog signals are not easily stored, and the process of recording and retrieving this information is generally cumbersome.
This is where digital signal processing or DSP comes in. It is a functional device or program that takes a digital signal and processes it in some way based on the listener's preferences.

So, DSP corrects the signal going to your speaker by adding and removing certain frequencies such that the resulting signal that reaches your ear or the calibration microphone matches the original input signal. It corrects all sorts of issues that passive sound treatments cannot.

DSP has several advantages to offer, which are as follows:
1. It offers high efficiency, fast, and more accurate processing than analog technologies.
