@@SerenityMusicOasis yes absolutely this is possible. You can transfer using squads, where each assistant in a squad can act as a destination to transfer to.
Thanks for your comment. This can be achieved a few ways, one is to use conditional call forwarding (done through your service provider) where the normal number e.g. office landline or mobile forwards the call to your assistant after x amount of rings or outside business hours. This can also be achieved if your business telephone system is VoIP based, can again forward the call onto the assistant at certain times of the day.
Does the number you have from twillio has an effect on whether the assistant will transfer the call or not? Because I have a trial number. I did what you did and when I aks to transfer, it says "Im transferring call" and hangs up.
I'm trying to do this for an outbound agent -- agent is triggered via an HTTP post - calls a user, then transfers the user to a human advisor. I can't get the agent to connect the. call. -- any thoughts?

Depending on your assistant configuration, minute cost will vary. As such it's wise to put margin on top of minute usage, or include avg monthly minute cost on a monthly retainer. For setup fee this can vary on the complexity of the assistant, would be hard to give an exact $

I have one issue, in that when replicating this, with just the tranfer to a single number using the function, the call just dropsout/ends after the assistant says 'transferring you now'...I've tried this with both Vonage and Twilio nubers and the same issue....any idea why it is not transferring
When transferring to a single number, try using the inbuilt forwarding function under the "functions" tab in VAPI. This works for single transfers. The function I built works on text conditions to allocate a transfer to specific numbers.

Hi, I'm having the same issue with transferring the call from the built in function. My twilio call just hangs when the assistant announces 'transferrign the call', are the any additional settings to be completed on Twilio? I have UK Twilio number and am trying to transfer to another UK number
