Whatever you're doing from film, photography, etc. It's ALL based on YOUR style and YOUR client.
Only watch videos for the basics not for YOUR creative or what your clients want.
YES...people color grade to achieve certain looks. Prince is only showing you some of his methods, but in the end
you should not copy to a T, otherwise you're just mimicking his style which is pointless to you being a creator.

You did FS for 8bit on a 16bit. You get a slight colorshift (turn off/on FS folder and you will see it). You need to set blending to Add, Scale to 2, Offset to 0 and check the Invert box.

Great video! Quick question though what is the difference between this method and pro retouching pack in your store?
There are different retouching techniques and you can use anyone you want. The whole idea is to just learn different ways to retouch but get the best result regardless.
